Lando Vannata is only 31 years old

Yup, he still has time to alter the deal, but it’s gonna get worse all the time.

I get the impression that after about the Teymur loss he lost confidence in his groovy game and has been looking to evolve... but he has never found anything that works as well as his original self. Hence the stagnation and decline (and the loss of groovy shit in his game). Also why he has been shopping around between gyms like Jackson, Elevation, Joel Diaz boxing, and Cerrone's ranch.

Classic example of a fighter experiencing setback, losing confidence, and just having no idea of how to rebound.

MMA guys always look way older than their age. A few exceptions are there like Anderson. But then again Anderson always took barely any punishment.

He's too small imo. Don't know why he doesn't fight at FW. He doesn't seem to have the power, speed or length. He's always in fights but last night he was severely outmatched with strikes. It was sad to see

I think he used to get by on his style and creativity but now he's just a short brawler with scrambles
He already gave FW a try and went 1-1 there, winning a decision over Mike Grundy before getting ran over by Jourdain. Lando's just a fun fighter for better or worse.

I was just watching his fight yesterday and the guy is only 31 but I would think most believe he is closing in on 40. He was only 24 when he fought Tony Ferguson which is crazy to think about even if the guy hasn't fought the most. Anyway, the guys fun to watch but his fights feel the same as watching an old veteran who's a little shop worn compete in a young mans game.

Max is 31 and he's still slapping everyone around except that smug douche Alex lol.

The whole Lando Groovy bandwagon was fun for a while. Wish he would have done better. I thought he would. Maybe he can rebound? If he doesn't get cut....

There is a thing called the "Halo Effect"

My mom would remind me of this before the first day of school each year.

Make a great first impression and you will receive benefit of the doubt and be treated better for a LONG time afterwards.

Try it.

It works.

Being in the UFC is elite already. Top 1%
A lot of folks seem to forget this. There are certainly exceptions, but if you have made the walk in the UFC, you're incredibly talented.

A lot of people are very talented, including many sherdogers, but haven't dedicated their life or 10 years to martial arts and made those walks to fights . So it's not just talent.
