Lando Vannata is only 31 years old

Being in the UFC is elite already. Top 1%

Ehh not anymore. The UFC signs a lot of low level guys too especially these days. Ever seen TUF? And with orgs like One, PFL, Rizin also having some share of top talent too

According to some hilariously delusional people on here, he’s just entering his prime.

<36>

His best years are long gone and his ceiling was obvious. Regardless, Lando’s a fun fighter and a good dude.

He also gave us some humorous moments.

He was overrated from the start because he came in on short notice and hit Tony pretty good a few times. Tony didn't respect him and Tony's fight prep has always been questionable.

I'm not surprised he looks weathered. His fights are wars that usually go the full 3 rounds. He fights with his hands down and relies on an elite chin rather than avoiding blows as much as possible. He has also cut down 2 weight classes. Remember how emaciated KenFlo looked when he did that?

Great fight against Ferguson and an even better fight after that, then its been all downhill from there.

No, it isn't.
Being at the top of the ufc is very elite. But the fringes of the roster are full of club level fighters that just didn't quit to get a real job.
There are a few people in the ufc that I've worked over. And I was never anything special.

He’s very average. He was always very average and only weirdos seeking e-companship jumped on his bandwagon.

Yeah but he isn’t the standard

the standard is “professional mma fighter” and by that measuring stick, being in the UFC alone is hardly elite.
