Landman

I thought the old folks home portion of the show is pretty ridiculous. So far that’s been my only criticism.

And Billy Bob’s character is pretty cavalier in his attitude towards Andie Garcia, a man he knows to be a cartel leader.

Just started S2 so don't know what happens with that yet.

But agree the old folks home arc didn't make sense other than to show something redeemable about those two hobags. Billy Bob's character kidnapped in the S1 finale with a bag over his head like he started S1E1 seemed canned and the torture scene way too tame. And then shit talking Andy Garcia with another canned oil propaganda speech after he's rescued from getting his face peeled off was WTF. But in every other scene, Billy Bob is hitting it out of the park with this character.

I just finished the season two on monday. It’s really good. Now I don’t know what to watch.

Season 3 is coming in November (or they start shooting in November, I’m not sure…)

Watched the final 5 episodes of season 2 last night and holy guacamole, I frickin' LOVE, LOVE, LOVED IT!!

That was such a great ride they took us on this year, I'm glad they toned down the violence and chaos this season and took us more into the family drama and boardroom wheelings and dealings, which is what I expected season 1 to be

I enjoyed season 1(except for the magic bullshit last episode) but this season had so much more depth and emotion and charm, it wasnt just nonstop explosion, murder, death, explosion, shoot out, explosion every episode

Although there still was some really chaotic violence, death, tragedy and chaos sprinkled about here and there

Speaking of charm, that Cheyenne is quite the pistol there, isnt she, white girls aint s'posed to have cakes like that, ooh la lala

"Youre the one that said handjob"

<lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao>

I frickin' hated Rebecca the lawyer so much in season 1 and was quite triggered that she didnt get her comeuppance in the end but I'll be danged if she didnt have one of the all time greatest babyface turns of all time here in season 2, that scene in the police station was bad ass heck, after I finished the episode I had to go back and watch that part again, it was so dope

Sam Elliott was a great addition as the wise old man learned from a lifetime of regrets

The ending of this season was so much better than the ending of season 1, I am quite looking forward to season 3, although Taylor Sheridan not being involved anymore(since he's leaving Paramount and all his great shows behind for a new deal at NBC) does dampen that a scootch but hopefully they can the momentum going without him

I wonder how much of Tommy's statement in the final episode, "I gotta see if I got one more homerun left in me", was actually Sheridan speaking about leaving Paramount

Anyhoo, this was a really great run so far and if any of you are looking for a great new show and havent given this one a shot yet, I give it my Official 7 Thumbs Up Highest Recommendation

I've seen people hating on Tommy's succubus wife but I love that crazy bitch, probably cause she reminds me so much of my crazy ass ex that I was with for 8 years LoL

Angela completely losing her shit and throwing the plates of spaghetti against the wall brought me right back home again and gave me the warm and fuzzies all over

I loved the scene in episode 6 when the show suddenly turned into Bad Santa for a moment

"Dont you dare fuck my omelette!"

"Oh, the omelettes the first thing getting fucked!"

<lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao>

god tier hair genetics for Sam Eliott
at times he's the handsomest man in the entire show and he's 80 years old.
