Mawashi Geri is one of the most known and used technique in Karate, and it's a roundhouse kick. I'm getting eye cancer from reading the non-sense posts in this thread.
I never wrote that

muay thai knocks out TKD and Kyokushin Karate though, and the conditioning is harder
I dont think thats fair. There are plenty of successful kyokushin guys in kickboxing. muay thai and kk both win and lose fights.muay thai knocks out TKD and Kyokushin Karate though, and the conditioning is harder
Lol why is everyone blaming each other, why are flame wars happening in every threads jeez...
Some people can't accept that there are other martial arts than theirs out there which are effective too, some others can't accept that their martial art might be less practical and effective than some other martial arts.
.
Is that why your Kyokushin boy got his ass whopped by an ITF champ?
You mean 3 Tae Kwon Do black belts getting savaged by Kyokushin black belts.
They were not ITF. We have nothing in common with those WTF guys. DIfferent body mechanics, patterns, sparring rules. etc
Prove those guys are WKF and not ITF. And prove ITF is different in body mechanics patterns and sparring rules.
The international ITF rules are also point scoring with heavy contact being against the rules.
Some national competitions are full contact, all World or European championship events are Semi contact. Contact level is always heavy and rarely penalised. If both fighters can take it, judges don't care.
This is heavy contact no matter what the rules states
Please stop showing me videos of Tae Kwon Do fouls to try to convince me it's full contact. Heavy contact is clearly stated as against the rules leading to point deduction and disqualification,
Do your own research.
Nope, full contact in WTF national competition in CO springs, qualifying for the new Olympic team through the 90's when I did it.They do FULL CONTACT in dojangs but ONLY do SEMI CONTACT in competitions?? GTFO! They train for the rules format that they compete in which is semi contact.
Nice try, but you missed with that one.
