Yes. There is video evidence of this.
Militia member calmly talking with BLM members on video about how cops herded the protesters into the area where the militia would be so that they would deal with them instead of the cops.
That guy, doel, is an idiot that oBoy sees what he wants to see. He implicates the police in “letting Rittenhouse escape on purpose” then he talks about letting him “flee” to MI, another state! Which was 15 minutes away.
Let’s say for a minute that I believe what the guy with the gun told them-that the cops said they would push the protesters into the militia-what does that mean? Is that giving permission to take out the protesters? Is that conversation on video ? Any proof that was said?
And no one even took the opportunity to shoot provided to them to shoot protesters since all the militia are “white supremacists and there to shoot protesters.”
What is on video: Rittenhouse being attacked, chased, cornered and forced to defend himself and then chased and attacked again. The kid called someone, I assume 911, and tried to give himself up but because of the chaos, the cops told him to keep moving. Anyone who says that the cops knew he was the shooter and what happened and decided to let him go because they approved of his actions is a total fucking moron. Total fucking idiots believe that, no one else would believe that shit.
And I can see a cop jovially saying “hey, we’ll just push them to you guys because we know you can handle it” as a joke. It doesn’t matter because nothing like a shooting gallery happened. I used to joke with citizens all the time-i said to a guy once “hey big guy, when shit goes down, you draw their attention while I go for a coffee.” He knew I was joking just before a big fight broke out. Another time, there was a correction officer gathering that I can’t remember the name of-national type of thing, but a giant fight broke out. While we were cleaning things up, I had a conversation with one guy that couldn’t believe that we only had 8 officers to control such a large crowd. He said “why don’t you guys go take lunch and we will take care of this shit.” I jokingly said “yeah, that would be great-have at it.” And do you know what happened? Nothing, we continued to make arrests and break up fights while those guys watched and I know they made sure no one came up on us from behind.
And the cops gave them water because these are citizens legally carrying firearms in observance of the 2nd, who weren’t and did not break any laws, and who weren’t throwing things at them and looting and burning things like a bunch of animals. That kind of normal, respectful behavior is a welcome sight with the whole streets filled with people that hate you because of a uniform. Nothing at all wrong with that. Had another protester, even one against the cops, were to have a civil discussion instead of yelling in their faces, maybe they would get water too. I have had many pleasant conversations with people that were on the other side and I offered them water on a hot day-once on the scene of a homicide and these guys and I developed respect for each other that carried my whole career.
If you take away Rittenhouse’ sage, he did nothing at all wrong that night.
