Social Kyle Kulinski mad at Bill Maher for telling audience "don't burn bridges over politics"

Alot of burning bridges talk online, but im curious how much of it is legit. Some of it is so batshit it's hard to believe. An ideology that truly owned the truth wouldn’t rely on cutting off dissenters or severing family bonds to maintain its grip. It’s ironic how those that demand loyalty the loudest often reveal just how fragile their claim to truth really is.

The guy you voted for cited loyalty as his main criteria for his cabinet picks lmao

Excellent self own

kinda funny that it's only right-wingers who get abandoned by their friends and families lol
<JagsKiddingMe>

Your takeaway is that it somehow reflects poorly on "right wingers" that they just vote for the candidate they prefer and go about their day, and that it's somehow a good look for the left to display the cult behavior of caring more about their political cult than their own family? Wow.

Kyle is absolutely right, If you still friends with someone who voted for a guy who fantasized about the future breast size of his infant daughter's breast then you are a weirdo.

LOL. She didn't even have to. She didn't have to press the more woke aspects of her party's platform, and quietly pretending to disown or distance herself from her previous woke statements (like supporting taxpayer-funded transitional surgeries for prisoners) didn't fool anyone. It didn't work. Trump's campaign commercial skewering her for that has been heralded as possibly the most successful & effective campaign ad in political history.

Because, as we've cited over and over in the days since the election, tons of exit polls & surveys have shown that key swing voters, including demographics that shifted strongly in favor of Trump relative to 2020, avowed their distaste for wokeness as one of their central aversions to Harris and the Democratic party. This is congruent with the outcome of the election, so it's fair to assume the conclusions of these samples are accurate. But, okay, here, let's do this yet again.

Here's the reality, sweetheart. The reality is the voters were smarter than the dumb-dumbs who run the Democratic party who thought they could pull a great switcheroo. They understood the Democrats weren't sincere when they pretended to be pro-border control and anti-woke only because they belatedly realized in the 11th hour that Americans hate this shit. The voters were wise to it. They understood the Democrats showed them who they were for the past 10 years, and saying they were something else in the last five minutes didn't count for much.

Smart voters. Dumb Democratic leaders. Dumb apologist progressive talking heads like Kulinski. Dumb karate forum wokesters.
Interesting. You say the voters were smart then demonstrate they were fooled by misinformation spread by the Trump campaign and its allies to back your assertion. Well done.

it's not actually. but again it's only right wingers getting abandoned by society

Trump won the popular vote. The majority of the country supports him. Actually by a pretty wide margin.

It's literally you who is being abandoned. Even your own party is abandoning you. The Dems are openly saying courting the far left (you) is what lost them the election.

It's nothing to boast about, because it's a shitty thing to do over politics/sexuality/religion/etc., but I'm pretty sure there are a lot more people on the far left ideologically who have been abandoned by their families because of it.
We just don’t brag about avoiding the crazies in our life. We tend to keep it to ourselves. Leftists on the other hand……

It is crazy. We just keep on keeping on. It is probably worth it to lose some over politics though.

Though I haven't personally seen anyone abandoning their friends or family over this election. I think the crazy internet dwellers are getting far too much attention. Still having discussions with my blue-haired peeps online, and nobody is getting unfriended. Maybe it is just the circles we are in, but, it seems far more kosher than in 2016. Just the amount of insane folks online have gone up. They live in their own little world anyway, so nothing of value is lost.

Some issues lined up and that's it imo. Some of the things he valued more took priority. He invited Kamala on. She declined to go there. Thats on her. Overall it's fine to have priorities or position changes. That's life imo
I'm not saying no one can change, just that Joe's shift is pretty notable, to a curious extent IMO. It seems like Kyle is thoroughly annoyed cuz he had long conversations with Joe and thinks it was for naught
That's the kinda the point, though. He wasn't making a comparison about civil rights. He was making a point about being hateful.

The analogy wasn't about the black person on the bus, it was about the person that didn't want to sit next to a black person because they were hateful. Making it about civil rights or comparing maga folks to black people misses the point.

I'm sure theres a lot of maga people that get on your nerves. If we're being honest, it's overwhelmingly the left that just shuns one side, though. Most right wingers seem to just think leftists are ignorant and naive. But its not uncommon for leftists to literally think conservatives are bad people, even evil. Or racists, sexist, etc. Just look at the meltdowns over Trump winning. America is racist, Mexicans are too stupid to understand what Trump is going to do, etc. It's complete disdain and hatred for the other side. That snow white girl saying she hoped Trump and his voters "never know peace" is unhinged, and she's not even a rarity.

Again, what did he say that was unreasonable?
AND IT'S A DUMB COMPARISON LOL. It's a nonstarter comparing a group of people who for hundreds of years were,

Beaten, raped, tortured, enslaved, killed - denied every conceivable human right - to an annoying family member. I'm never going to agree that it's a good comparison. It's like shitting down your leg at the start of a date and wanting to continue. It's over.

The whole point is Trump has said insane, unhinged shit for years and tried to do wild shit amd some of his supporters are supremely obnoxious but people are supposed to shut up and deal with that, but if there's push back and "nah I don't wanna fuck with you" liberals and left people are the dicks but he and some of his supporters can say and do whatever they want? Fuck all the way off. His entire premise is dumb with a couple fair points mixed in.

I work with a couple Trumpers. They're fine, I avoid politics. There's other Trumpers who display it LOUDLY, it's almost a personality - not a yard sign, not I support so and so republican, you know what the fuck I'm talking about. I ain't dealing with that shit. It's not like a normal difference in poltics.

And yeah, some of the shit I've heard outta there mouths is like, "Oh, I don't respect you" kinda shit, not like, "Oh, I disagree with who you voted for but whatevs."

I don't agree with every lib or or leftist but Trump is an odious figure who's extremely controversial and has said innumerable horrible things about half the country. Well, don't browbeat some people in that 50% for being like, "yeah, fuck off"

That's not quite accurate. He's mad at Bill Maher for being way harder on the left than on the right even though he is on the left.

So he is strongly criticizing randoms on the left who don't want to be with family during the holidays while not even mentioning randoms on the right who do the same thing.

He is also strongly castigating the people on the left for being offended without talking about the profound disgusting vile behavior causing it on the right.

I think very few on the right actually cut off people for differing political views, I'm sure there is the odd exception but that's very much a lefty trait let's be honest.

You don't know that.

Honest? From trump disciples? The most dishonest actor ever to enter the office of the presidency?

Who had made lying a norm? Who has made slander a norm? Who has made rape convictions in civil court acceptable. Who divides and sows chaos as a political strategy? Who stiffs workers by threatening lawfare? Who practices double speak regularly meant to sow confusion in the populace? Which his followers call "trolling" and approve of? Who started the birther lie about Obama. Who unsighted an insurrection, lied about last elections results and has never conceded the loss further dividing America?

When you willingly elect a villain you have to bear the burden/consequences of that reputation man. Some people's standards will require that they dont want to be around you anymore.

I'm personally not one of those people provided said trump supporter doesn't bring up politics and has goodwill otherwise.

I've watched Maher for a while, he's plenty hard on the republicans. He's showing up in algorithms a lot right now because he's turning his attention to the left, but that's because he wants the left to start winning.
He's also very unmoving in his positions, unlike many people, left or right. He's changed his mind on very few things and finds all the warped and twisted identity political warfare on both sides very abhorrent.

Why did you post a video that you obviously didn’t even watch? Kyle isn’t just saying that yeah you should cut off ties with your family. He’s saying in a much more broad sense that it can’t hurt (at any point in time) to consider who is in your circle of friends and family and think about how their views might affect you. For example if you’re trans and your family supports the guy who wants them back in the closest then yeah maybe it is best to go different ways. The lesson should be to hang out with the people who love you and respect you. Not seeing the fuss over this. Pretty dumb thread honestly and seems like you’re looking for something to get mad about that isn’t there

I personally feel that bigots can't love or respect anyone. For example, I might be gay, or I might not. You don't know. If you're a bigot towards gay people, then your "respect" for me is contingent on a random piece of demographic information you can't have or get easily. So you're a piece of shit and should be treated as such on that ground alone. Plus, also, probably for lots of other reasons too.

Oh sweet summer child lying has been the norm for politicians since forever. If Trump has one weakness it's that he is too honest for a politician.

Those rape convictions in a civil court are a nonsense, that woman is clearly a fruitloop. Anyone can get convicted in a civil trial where little evidence is needed, even Conor McGregor got convicted and we all know he is innocent.

Who divides and sows chaos as a political strategy? That would be the democrats with their constant shrieking "He is a threat to democracy, he is literally Hitler".

Who practices double speak regularly meant to sow confusion in the populace? That would have been Kamala this campaign, did you not see how she tailored her answers depending on her audience? The way she gave two completely different answers to the jew crowd vs the pro Palestine crowd. Trump on the other hand is always consistent no matter who he is talking to.

Who started the birther lie about Obama? Was it a lie? The Birth cert he eventually produced looked photoshopped to me to be honest and even Obama's own brother says he was born in Kenya so that question is far from answered.

As for the insurrection Trump specifically told them to protest peacefully and respect the police beforehand. He can't be held responsible for a few guys getting a little rowdy, no doubt egged on by the FBI plants in the crowd. Anyways it all the pales in significance to the months long BML riots that were encouraged by the democrats and even bailed out by so they could kill again.
