Will Brooks and CroCop are probably the biggest duds.

Anyone who is watching MMA for a while knows Kron was too one dimensional in an era where everyone is adequate in Jiu Jitsu to neutralize someone who has nothing else. Plus it didn’t help he was training with the wrong group of fighters. If he was serious about making a run in MMA he would’ve gone to a gym with wrestling… like AKA.

Absolutely. Royce left the UFC in 1995 after his fights became progressively tougher. After he left, there's never been a Gracie or other BJJ purist to win a UFC tournament or belt. I don't think anyone expected Kron to be be anything more than mid-level at best.
