It wouldn’t be a Kraven movie then it would be just another Venom movie . The sole reason for Sony do Kraven is to introduce another character they have rights to . Making Kraven vs Rhino makes much more sense , you would not do a Kraven / Venom crossover until Kraven becomes more known because he’s an unknown character to most it would’ve just been seen as random.Yeah have Kraven loving life hunting Venom with quips back and fourth.

The best way to write a comic book movie is to actually get a guy who is comic collector himself and understands what fans want to see not to complicate things and be that guy who makes the movie his vision instead of the one it’s intended to be , with comic book movies it’s often the case out of ego I’ve seen it first hand .That’s right it would just be a venom movie, instead of two shitty movies you might get one good venom and then if Kraven clicks with people, spin him off like peacemaker

I’ve read some scripts giving to me one was the original G.I Joe way before it became a movie I was still in high school and collecting comics I was a big fan of the comics toys and movie cartoon . Well it was absolutely terrible I could tell this guy ( friends with my father he lived with us for awhile ) never picked up a comic book and that pitch to the production guys didn’t go far like many of his movies ideas but these are the kinds of ppl usually doing movies .
The scenerio you suggested wasn’t ideal for them having read they have no plans for expanding the Sony Spider verse they left it open for possible marvel crossover, the ending of the movie also introduces chameleon as his brother ( lazy writing ) this is when writers randomly just want to dumb down movies and think they are being clever it’s an often narcissistic trait which is why you get randomly dumb things in movies .
Count yourself lucky then.I have ad supported Netflix, so don't have access to watch Kraven.
same, i didn't hate it. i rank it similar to marvel and the rest you mention - it was sort of 'safe' and not something i'd ever watch again.I saw it and even though I agree with all of Dragonlords points, I didn't hate this. I don't have the back story as I never read the comic books, so I wasn't put off by the changes. Yes, the dialogue was bad, and some of the CGI was bad. But I enjoyed this way more than Captain Marvel, The Marvels, Morbius, and certainly Madame Web. Russell Crowe was really good, and ATJ did well imo. He seemed to be stronger than many who get their powers in similar ways. Sometimes you watch a movie and know it's bad, but if it entertains you, you let the flaws slide some.
