KOTS > UFC

I want headbutts on the ground more.

More dangerous is a fighter with top control smashing the back of his opponents skull against the pavement. The thread of biting makes it dangerous to put your hands on an opponents face...but thrusting with the shoulders or good old fashioned 12-6 elbows do the trick:

Yeah, but I still want headbutts on the ground more than standing headbutts and eye gouging.

Don't see how headbutts on the grounds would be more effective or prefferable over 12-6 elbows or thrusting with the shoulders. For the matter why not just go for the throat and bite your opponents voice box out or sever the arteries like a beast of tooth and claw? Grappling...changes dramatically the moment things like biting and eye gouging come into play. Not to mention going for the balls.

Of course the UFC fighters are at a much higher level, which is why they are earning real money, and getting real exposure.

But damn, as a fight fan I must say the KOTS production and entertainment puts UFC to shame.

This is a European promotion, and I know in the States there's stuff like Street Beefs, etc... but honestly after watching KOTS, Street Beefs looks kinda weak and silly to me.

When UFC says "as real as it gets", it's just talk... this is as real as it gets...

(mods, please don't move this thread right away, a lot of MMA fans here are always looking for more fights to watch and I don't see threads about this promotion on any of the forums here so I'm assuming a lot of members don't know about it)

Just because fighters in the UFC are more skilled that doesn't mean they would do as well in this sort of new rules fighting, adding in head butts, groin strikes, knees and kicks on the ground change everything and it wouldn't surprise if some UFC fighters lost.

I think you just made my point. IF we want to keep it a sport, we need some rules. I like grappling, I like striking, and I like watching them at the same time. That is the heart of MMA. I do not, however, like watching people die.

KOTS is great. A lot of snowflakes out there though; especially when it comes to eye gouging. "what?! eye gouging?!! in MY King Of The Streets?!!". Listen: what part about "fight with no rounds and no rules" do yal not understand? It is between two consenting grown men, with reasonable stoppages (I would describe the stoppages as later than mainstream mma, but still way more reasonable than old school Felony Fights) and medical staff on hand.

Oh and like you say the production value and footage of the fights actually does put UFC to shame.

God the old Felony fights, I found some of them really hard to watch, biting and such

That’s a good point, I remember at one of the events after a really brutal fight, Brian Hooi turned to the camera and said something like “your favorite fighter doesn’t have the balls to do this”.

At first I chuckled thinking he’s just being delusional, but on second thought, a more skilled and better trained fighter wouldn’t necessarily have the stomach for this type of thing.

Also there's a cage. Should have access to the entire warehouse, or have it in a back alley

I like when they do fights under overpasses. Like the Obnoxious fight card with Oak vs Leo and Bloodaxe vs Orsu Corsu. The size is just big enough and the acoustics and atmosphere are incredible.

Not to mention the Matador event in the Spanish bullring. That was amazing.

No this is extremely irresponsible and plain dumb..

Unless the beef is real and/or you gotta defend your own or yourself .. theres no reason to fight someone like these guys are...thats classless violence and nothing sporting about it..

Someone will die if they haven't already
