i was looking to buy a koral mkm gi and i was wondering what size would be best for me, im about 5,10 and weigh around 80kg
 
Uh, I heard Koral runs huge. I'm 6'2 190lbs and someone said an A3 would be perfect me! This dude is under 6'0! Call Koral man.
 
they must run big because my gi is a6 in 6' 200 pounds but it is a little baggy.
 
Koral is about 1/2 a size larger than other gis. A 2 is really like a 2.5.

I'm 6'0" and 205lbs. I am too big for an a3 and an a4 is huge on me. The a3 Koral fits perfect.
 
No need to ask him, there's a sizing chart posted and the gi's are preshrunk so it'll stay pretty true to the chart. Also like A_bomb47 has mentioned, it is the perfect fit for himself who is similar in build. I also have a Koral A2 and I'm roughly that size.
 
Just a noob question, guys...

Is Koral really worth the cost???over the Fuji that I have.

I'm new to bjj so I'm not sure. Or is it just a luxury item, more like a nice to have.

Sure looks good on Jacare but I don't think it would help me roll like him.

As a noob should I just spend money on private lessons instead?

Thoughts?

Personally I'd say no, it's not worth paying nearly twice as much as an HCK or Fuji. Especially since you're so new. Then again, it's your money, so if you really want a Koral then that's your choice.

It's true that Jacare looks good in his Koral, but I doubt he pays for his :D
 
might just stick with my Fuji for a year or so and maybe get a Koral later on.

I'm new to BJJ and I bought one. Bottomline, you need a gi, why not buy a nice one? :icon_chee
