See I can't tell the difference functionally between the para 2, 3, manix, tenacious, or endura. The blade shape differences seem minuscule,

Functionally almost no difference imo(I think endura had a tad bit longer blade, but my main decision was down to... it was on sale )

Yeah, prices lately been insane, wanted to get one of the new Henry levers, but it's like 1,600 for .22 ... Still considering their Steel lever .360, it was like $900 or something

Carried a cold steel recon 1 for about a decade. When it was time to replace it I got a few nice spydercos. None of them are as heavy duty as the cold steel but theyre very nice. Carried pm2 today

I have about 50 knives but that is nothing compared to some folks on reddit. My current carry knife is the civivi baby banter and a spyderco that has a 2.75" blade I carry very compact knives ill carry a CRKT squid occasionally.

And a big ol' Ontario Knife Co bayonet that my old man left me.

I carey the spyderco persistence a lot it is just a smaller tenacious.

This is my daily carry and I use it for everything. 2inch auto.

In CA we have to carry 1.9 inch if it is auto or OTF one of our stupid laws companies specifically make 1.9" OTF for CA they look ridiculous.

I have a cold steel mini tuff lite they are very reliable knives compact too.

Recon is a tank. I love mine. Feels very robust, blade is gigantic, lock is sturdy

The Recon 1 has been my work knife for 15 years at the PD. Carry it every day at work

I'm more into bushcraft knives than pocket or tactical knives. Having said that, I don't know if I have a favorite brand for pocketknives. Spyderco is pretty consistent with their quality but can be overpriced, since, in my opinion, they aren't elite, top of the line knives, but they do have almost elite pricing in some of their products.

Kershaw on the other hand, is not as consistent and some of them are made in china but they do have some good knives and their prices are pretty good. In my opinion, you get more bang for your buck, but it will depend largely on what you need it for. Say, a $30 kershaw knife can be great for EDC and to keep it in your car for whatever light use you need in your day to day. But if you plan on using it outside, say construction, outdoors or more heavy work, I would not consider a Kershaw the best option. The good thing is that there are many brands and models to choose from depending on your needs.

I've kept a black swiss army Huntsman in my car for almost 10 years and still going strong, and carry a smith & wesson Freelancer as my EDC and this setup it's good enough for me. To be honest, it's almost overkill since I don't use neither that much, it can go a few days without me using either, but I'm of the mindset that I rather have them and not use them, than need them and not have them. There is no inconvenience in having them with me or in my car anyway.

yeah it’s dumb but you be surprised at how easy it carry those little auto. This one seem to be very popular too.
