I rented this last night, and I'm going to watch it again today.

One of the best action movies I've seen in a long time.

Cheesy and ridiculous, sure. But the fight choreography and editing were insane, not to mention it was a film filled with fantastic characters.

Colin Firth all day.

Movie was perfect except for Sam Jackson's speech impediment.

Just got a chance to watch this. I was skeptical when I saw the trailers originally, but I'm gonna give it a 9. It probably deserves an 8, but it was so much fun that I'm bumping it up. All the performances were good, Eggsy was actually really good and Samuel L Jackson was hilarious. The action scenes were great and there were a ton of really funny scenes that lightened it. I wish I had seen this in theaters now, great film.

I initially thought this movie would be absolute garbage after seeing the trailers, but some posters on here recommended it so I gave it a shot. Turns out, it was an exceptionally entertaining flick. Really well done, albeit at times goofy, action scenes, a lot of good acting performances, and some comedy throughout.

I'd say about an 8.5

Oh shit, that's the valet!

I laughed my ass off at that part.

Kingsman: secret service.

What a fantastic action movie, another film I seriously regret not watching this in theaters. 10/10.

I'm just gonna start waching whatever dragonlordxxxxx, and a few oher posters recommend. Since they have been right everytime.

Watched it expecting it to suck. Thought it was great. The last 30 or 40 minutes got kind of dull but I would rate it an 8 or 9.
Watched Mad Max afterwards and felt let down. I expected it to be a 10 but it was an 8 or 9 in my opinion also. I preferred the second and third Mel Gibson movies. Have to say the movie in your avatar looks awesome Drangonlordxxx

This has been a phenomenal year for spy films.

I've loved Mission Impossible, American Ultra, Kingsman and Man From Uncle. All are beautifully different and wonderfully crafted.

The movie is called Turbo Kid. It's a low-budget post-apocalyptic adventure film. Opening in limited theaters this August 28. Check out the trailer on the link:

Have you seen SPY yet? Not a lot of posters here have seen it. I know a lot of people here hate Melissa McCarthy but I think they will be surprised and enjoy the film.

Spy was EXCELLENT!

Also, I thought Kingsmen was great (8/10). It was Bond meets Kick Ass, a lot of fun. I actually didn't like Samuel L. Jackson's decision to use a heavy lisp. I understand why he did it, but I thought it didn't really serve the film too well. It was more of a distraction.

watched this movie last night with the wife. and i really enjoyed it, Sam Jackson was great. the leads were solid and it was nice to see Mark Strong NOT as the villain for a change!

10/10 - cheeky, funny, action packed, good performances and a fun campy throwback to the Bond movies!

KINGSMAN 2 to Shoot in April Which Creates Problem for Taron Egerton

Kingsman-Taron-Egerton-092615-Dragonlord.jpg

Taron Egerton is learning that being a rising star can be complicated. The 25-year-old English actor broke big this year with Kingsman: The Secret Service, director Matthew Vaughn's surprise action hit that grossed $412.1 million worldwide. 20th Century Fox, which has a sequel option on Egerton, now wants another installment and is planning a shoot starting in April despite not yet having a script.

However, after Kingsman made him an in-demand actor, Egerton nabbed the plum lead in Robin Hood: Origins, Lionsgate's take on the medieval archer being produced by Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way. That movie is looking to begin shooting in February, and its scope and length would create a conflict with Kingsman 2. At this stage, Fox isn't budging. Its option on Egerton puts it in first position, meaning Kingsman 2 could trump Hood. However, Lionsgate is further ahead in preproduction and is making offers to actors to play Hood's Merry Men.

Usually a hot actor's reps (in this case, CAA) can navigate scheduling spats, but in this unusual instance it will be up to the studios. (A similar tug-of-war erupted between Fox and Lionsgate over Jennifer Lawrence's obligations to X-Men and The Hunger Games, respectively.) Insiders believe things will be worked out, which would be good news for Egerton, who soon could be the star of two studio franchises.

Taron Egerton to Shoot KINGSMAN 2 First, Then ROBIN HOOD

Kingsman-Taron-Egerton-101215-Dragonlord.jpg

Taron Egerton’s 2016 has gotten clearer. The rising star, who broke through with the Matthew Vaughn-directed comic book adaptation Kingsman: The Secret Service, had been caught between the dueling schedules of Liongate’s Robin Hood reboot and Kingsman 2.

The latter had been distributed by Fox but was produced and financed by Vaughn and his MARV Films banner. MARV, which had first dibs on the actor, had planted its flag for an April shoot while Lionsgate was aiming for a February start.

The situation didn’t look rosy last week, when Vaughn exercised his option on the actor, meaning that Kingsman 2 was going ahead no matter what, throwing Robin Hood: Origins temporarily into a loop. Would it wait for Egerton or recast?

But now that the dust has settled, THR has learned that Robin Hood will shoot, with Egerton, after Kingsman wraps, likely at the end of summer 2016. The moves have opened up Egerton’s winter slot but it may not lie vacant for long. Sources tell THR that the actor is attached to star in Crooks County, an indie crime drama package that is hitting the town.
