Why was it a 2 round fight? I thought it was scheduled for 5? Could it be because the guy you say was dominating got ktfo in the 2nd?

You got to understand the context of this. Takeru lives for that kind of shit. He post videos all the time on instagram of him savagely beating training partners. This is just what happens when high level, hyper competitive guys go at it.

Takeru is known for hard sparring and knocking out his sparring partners but there is a clear distinction between that and hitting someone after the bell, IMO

I never said he was "dominating." I know it's the internet, so you feel the need to be extreme, but relax. I simply said he was winning, which he was, then he made a mistake and went to sleep.

It's just kind of silly to say a guy was winning up until he was pummeled unconscious. It literally does not matter how much you WERE winning a fight if you then get finished.

Agree. The Cody fight is the only fight I ever wanted to see him win, and that's based on watching TUF where Cody and Faber were acting like jealous bitches..

I used to be a big fan until I heard story after story about what a dick he is. Still an exciting fighter but I can't root for him anymore. There's actually no top bw contender that I like right now lol.

Pummeled is very accurate. He beat the man unconscious, and the ref had to jump in to prevent further damage. The dude didn't win a split. Saying "he was winning until he lost" comes off like sour grapes.

When a guy knocks you out or taps you out it doesn't MATTER if you were doing good. He lost, and decisively.
