We haven't seen anyone able to stop his wrestling while healthy, not even Usman before the hand injury, so I think in style Chimaev is looking better. If Pereira were to be able to stop it then it would likely depend on his size rather than just styles, as I see it.

If i was forced to bet I bet on Khamzat here just because he won't stand at all he will dive for ankles in 5 seconds . Depends on Pererias strength and ability to make Khamzat work on ground really hard that first rd . Theres a lot of factors and I think at 205 Pereria has a solid chance but odds are it would be a lay n pray fest untill Khamzat found a choke.

You dont waste a 38 yo Pereria in a fight like that so many other options than that for better fights. Khsmzat needs to defend twice anyway at mw he has many lined up......... by that time Pereria ia 40-41 years old n fought 5 to 6 times already .
