Ahh Chinarice the ever contrarian.
You disagree with everyone on this forum, doesn’t make you right. Maybe your just wrong?
I am in the majority... nice try buddy...I like how I've made my mark though... I make some people go full potato... kind of funny when people show me what they're all about.

Does octagon control still count?
because he wasn't controlling the octagon

Actually no, he did not get "badly outwrestled" by Usman. They both arguably scored 1 takedown and Colby had more control time. Colby has 72% takedown defense, (Compared to Burn's 47%) which would make him among the best defensive wrestlers Khazmat will face. However, people act like he will be completely helpless in grappling exchanges.

And it is doubtful that Colby would attempt to "wet blanket" Khazmat. What brought you to conclude that this would be his gameplan?

Did you miss the part where he got 10-11 TDs stuffed? That's pretty abysmal if you ask me. And what control time did Colby have? He never got an opportunity to wet blanket Usman and the fight mostly happened on the feet.

Colby's entire style is LnP his opponents with the exception of Usman who he couldn't do that to. But you have a point, he may try to stand with Chimaev as Chimaev will be similarly difficult to take down and he showed some defensive holes in his standup against Burns.

He landed the bigger punches, rocked his opponent more and could easily make a case he won the fight.

No doubt, Burns won #2, but Chimaev clearly won #3.

Backed up Burns for the first two minutes, landed crippling uppercuts. Burns came back the next couple of minutes, back and forth, the Chimaev punctuated it closing out around five with the knockdown knee to the body.

It was a hell of a fight, and a lot closer than I thought it would be.

I…can…use…ellipsis…too…to…make…everything…I…type…dramatic

Oh fuck off you intentional troll. You don’t even provide any productive discussion to your arguments, just consistently look for trolling and contrarian opinions to sound edgelord.

Now people are saying Burns is a BJJ blackbelt,so is RDA suckers and Khabib didnt leave his grappling. He would get his TD denied multiple times but would still do for his TD and stay on his gameplan. Khamzat got scared of the armbar attempt and didnt dare grappling. Not knocking Khamzat he did well for a guy with just 5 UFC fights he has a good rise in this division. I would give him the loser of Belal vs Luque next just so he is not rushed against Colby,Leon or Usman

There are levels to BJJ black belts.

Check out their accomplishments. Burns would school RDA in pure BJJ.

The irony. Lol

Look at your initial post and realize you're just embarrassing yourself...

Sorry guy ledouche but I'll use as many periods as I feel like and you will just need to find Kenny Blankenship to console your trolling ass.

I said that earlier. He passed his acid test. He definitely showed he can take punishment which is necessary to beat the absolute elite fighters.

The main concern is his cardio. Izzy had his best round in the 5th and nearly finished KG. Khazmat was exhausted and was extremely vulnerable in the 3rd round.

I feel bad for you salty fans that need to find issue with everything. Incredible fight, both guys increased their stock I don't see why you're trying to find controversy. Perfect decision and Burns didn't even debate or contest it. Loved that fight

Irrational posts on this site last couple of hours. Seems to be a consistent finding with people who make untenable comparisons between fighters of different weight classes.

I thought he won round 3 but it was absolutely close so not a robbery either way. He landed the harder shots in that round IMO and turned the tide despite being WAY more gassed. Khamzat took a break after stuffing the takedown and probably could have even got the stoppage if he hadn't IMHO. Either way, great fight and hope Burns gets a big name opponent next too.

Also, LOL @ someone saying the push kick at the end sealed it for Khamzat as if that had any influence on the scoring of the fight.

That’s a decent comparison but I’d argue more like McGregor-Mendes with Burns being Chad and Khamzat being Conor (if that makes sense). The first fight where the biggest hype train gets tested, faces serious adversity and loses his invincibility aura, yet wins.

Nah.

After rewatching the fight 2 times since watching live, Khamzat clearly won 1 and 3

He didn't debate it bc he isn't that type of dude.

Sal DAmato and Chris Lee are horrendous. Fighters have these 2 morons opinions affect their careers. I would never let my fight go to decision if I could help it.

They need to be fired
