I’ve heard the news of him retiring when he contracted covid, was that the time? Also was that just a joke or he just somehow made it back?
 
People keep throwing out that he was gonna retire when he had A MEDICAL SCARE! He didn't just lose motivation and give up. He was coughing up blood. I'm not a Khamzat nuthugger because in a way I kind of wanted Burns to win but Jesus Christ some of you people make stupid arguments.
 
he needs 3 more fights imo to really be composed, also remember that burns almost knocked the fuck out of usman and is an extremely talented and experienced fighter, i dont understand why you cucks assumed he would get steamrolled

yeah it was covid. he didn't think he would be able to recover it was so bad. who knows if that's still effecting him.

Some fans were extremely unfair and unreasonable to think Khamzat was simply going to breeze through top fighters with a highlight real knock out in the first round every fight. He definitely showed he belongs at the top of the division. He won an extremely tough fight. A lot of fighters would have lost a grueling fight like that.

he had people chanting his name desperate to see him win, and then they booed him when he won. he was overhyped and everyone saw it. like i said, if this is your FOTY it will have been a very bad year.
