I agree but burns was on the fence getting tagged most of the round. At the end he started jabbing more but that’s not enough.

1st round should’ve been a 10-8

If the first round is a 10-8 because of 1 knockdown then the 2nd should be a 10-8 for Burns for almost killing Khamzat standing up. Dude's got a chin though

This fight exposed Khamzat in many ways.
1. His tendency to brawl.
2. Poor Cardio.
3. Poor Striking defence.
4. Average Chin. Not an Iron chin like Khabib/Jones. Which now makes him susceptible to KOs.

+500 are odds meant for Shev vs Eye type of mismatches.

Khamzat stole round 1 with the jab knockdown. Burns won a wicked round 2 where Khamzat had his moments too.

Round 3 is the swing round. Early going all Khamzat. But latter half Burns really came on and seemed to be the one connecting, landing pot-shots. Khamzat walked through it all and still applied "forward pressure" but seemed like he got out struck a good portion of the round too.

Very close round, and I could see it going either way. Wasn't really a loser that fight, there couldn't have been a "bad" decision imo.

Khamzat dropped Burns in the first round with a jab, but gassed right afterwards. After he gassed, he had trouble hurting Burns.

I believe he has good power, he just doesn’t know how to manage his cardio that well.
