I honestly dont see the point of this thread? To like Khazmat you have to dislike the Diaz bros or vice versa? I like all 3...
some guys are champions of the gym and some guys really know how to show up when it's time to fight. I'm with Iverson on this one.
Khabib advances position, and submits dudes all the time
lol guy talking about fighting to the death in a sparring session vs Chimaev. The vibe im getting from this is that Sean caught an ass whooping
Dagestan is Disneyland compared to Chechnyahe actually backs up the mean mugging and shit talking. stockton is like disneyland compared to chechnya and dagestan.
Seemed like you were talking about a matchup between Khabib and a Diaz bro, but anyway I think that would’ve been fun. Buildup would be good, and it’s kind of interesting stylistically, I think Khabib would finish either one, but it would be cool to see their BJJ really get tested. That's why I said he's an anomaly. He isn't a lay and pray type.
That being said, he had 5 submissions, 2 TKO/KO's and 6 decisions in 13 fights. For clarity.

Nah he actually fights the toughest fights he can get. He just takes time off in-between fights. He fought Masvidal during his hype and peak. He fought Edwards who everyone avoids. Those are not easy or handpicked fights. He wasn't the favorite in any of those fights. These are the fighters at the top of the division at the time he fought them. Same with Pettis when he came back from his long lay off, Pettis just KO Wonderboy. They deserve recognition for what they've accomplished but Nate lately is irritating with all the Twitter trash talk. He runs from tough fights like
Khabib, hand picks his opponents and yet still loses.
So does ChimaevUsman outgrapples everyone he figths
Oh yeah I get what you’re saying, that’s why it would be interesting. It’s kind of a given Khabib would win, but it would be interesting to see if he could finish and what it looked like. I think a prime Diaz could even be dangerous in the 3rd when Khabib starts to slow down, even Conor was, maybe Nate could’ve done the same thing he did to Leon. Not specifically, no. That's why I said he was an anomaly, because in general, wrestler types are boring to watch fight a Diaz bro because it just ends up a takedown and lay there snooze fest. Khabib would def be pushing the action. Interesting you think he'd finish either one when they've both only been finished once and Nick only in a quit on the stool type finish at a late age.
I just wanna know the truth
Who gets better of who in training.
Of Burns then give him burns
If Luque give him Luque
Didn't he grow up in Sweden?

Seans actually a solid fighter, thats an all rounder. He can do everything but master of nothing.
Also theres rumors that Chimaev starts to struggle in striking when he gets pushed back on the feet….
