some guys are champions of the gym and some guys really know how to show up when it's time to fight. I'm with Iverson on this one.

lol guy talking about fighting to the death in a sparring session vs Chimaev. The vibe im getting from this is that Sean caught an ass whooping

i think you're projecting too much. who knows how the training sessions went. sean sure didn't seen intimidated at all speaking about chimaev.

That's why I said he's an anomaly. He isn't a lay and pray type.

That being said, he had 5 submissions, 2 TKO/KO's and 6 decisions in 13 fights. For clarity.
Seemed like you were talking about a matchup between Khabib and a Diaz bro, but anyway I think that would’ve been fun. Buildup would be good, and it’s kind of interesting stylistically, I think Khabib would finish either one, but it would be cool to see their BJJ really get tested.

Not specifically, no. That's why I said he was an anomaly, because in general, wrestler types are boring to watch fight a Diaz bro because it just ends up a takedown and lay there snooze fest. Khabib would def be pushing the action. Interesting you think he'd finish either one when they've both only been finished once and Nick only in a quit on the stool type finish at a late age.

Khamzat beat someone who will never fight for a UFC title or be in those talks.. Islam beat a fighter who's constantly spoken about as a top 10 in his weight class. Khamzats win was impressive, Islams win was incredible.

They deserve recognition for what they've accomplished but Nate lately is irritating with all the Twitter trash talk. He runs from tough fights like
Khabib, hand picks his opponents and yet still loses.
Nah he actually fights the toughest fights he can get. He just takes time off in-between fights. He fought Masvidal during his hype and peak. He fought Edwards who everyone avoids. Those are not easy or handpicked fights. He wasn't the favorite in any of those fights. These are the fighters at the top of the division at the time he fought them. Same with Pettis when he came back from his long lay off, Pettis just KO Wonderboy.

Oh yeah I get what you’re saying, that’s why it would be interesting. It’s kind of a given Khabib would win, but it would be interesting to see if he could finish and what it looked like. I think a prime Diaz could even be dangerous in the 3rd when Khabib starts to slow down, even Conor was, maybe Nate could’ve done the same thing he did to Leon.

He fought khabib and his crew in a club ?? They threw chairs and shit..

Diaz wasnt scared of khabib at anytime

Lol Sean keeping it real… his point is that if you try and win on points and conserve energy to go 3-5 rounds with Khazmat, that he’s going to smoke you. Sean is saying that you need to fight tooth and nail for every inch of position against Khazmat. I think he makes a great point. A lot of fighters try to conserve energy. You try that with Khazmat and you’re back to the locker room before you realize what happened.

No!!! If burns fights for the title after his next win, they should just fold the division.

Seans actually a solid fighter, thats an all rounder. He can do everything but master of nothing.

Also theres rumors that Chimaev starts to struggle in striking when he gets pushed back on the feet….

where are these rumors?
