Nah I am generally one for calling mfs out for just wanting to see kick boxing but this simply was not an entertaining fight. That’s bc Dricus didnt take risks to try and turn it around and Chimaev couldnt turn control into real danger of a finish. It’s trolling to say it was a great fight to watch if you knew what you wee looking at bc it wasn’t

Not trolling at all when I know what I was seeing. Someone completely dominating someone & putting on a wrestling/grappling clinic while fighting someone who has the heart of a lion. DDP was doing everything earthly possible but Khamzat was just that dominating in that matchup. Everything Dricus tried to do was shut down quickly by Chimaev. DDP was trying to scramble around & most ppl in the bad situations he was in would've gave up but DDP didn't.

Khamzat being so dominant is why it looked like Dricus wasn't doing anything or "risking" anything.

DDP being tough as nails & not giving up is why it looked like Khamzat was doing enough to finish him. That second crucifix was nasty, but DDP refused to let Khamzat fck him up. Khamzat couldn't pull off any subs because DDP isn't easy to submit. DDP couldn't do anything on the feet because Khamzat's wrestling is that lethal. DDP couldn't get up because Khamzat's grappling is that dominant. End of story.
