Khamzat is either a guy you like or hate, no in between. You thought that big Afrikaner would destroy him, you placed all your hope in him, after years and years of suffering, of coping after every victory.
You argued that LW Burns won that fight, then you downplayed his win against Usman, short notice, no knees, in five rounds he would have won. How about Bobby ? No, it was his theet. You never gave Chiamev any credit, and you never will.
Then that huge Afrikaner came, he was destroying his opponents, finding ways to win every fight, even when getting badly dominated. You placed your faith in him, he was your saviour, no way Khamzat would beat him.
He has an awkward effective striking, he hits hard, he's good on the ground, he even beats a whole Gracie Barra team, has a gas tank for days, since his nose surgery, surely, Khamzat will never win.
A few weeks before the fight, you flooded Sherdog with your takes, he's too strong for Khamzat, he managed to beat managed to beat a whole Gracie Barra team alone, he will wrestle Khamzat and beat him at his own game.
I think your mistake, was to project yourself into DDP, when he looked like an amateur, you saw yourself, under Khamzat in a crucifix. You could not cope with that idea, how is that possible ? He was the chosen one.
Then in an ultimate fashion to cope, you started by calling the fight boring, lay and pray, asking for a change of rules... You slept, and it did not help, nothing changed, Khamzat is still the champ.
Can't wait to know, what hype train are you going to join now, please, tell me.
