Does Khamzat just run over prime Anderson Silva?

Silva always had poor takedown defense, Sonnen took him down at will, Khamzat is a far superior wrestler to Sonnen.

Would Khamzat destroy prime Silva?

He’s basically the Mcgregor of grabbing.

Nobody beats Anderson easily, especially prime Anderson. Destroys? Come on.
I'm a gsp superfan not a Silva guy, but it's just disrespectful to act like every new champ steamrolls the previous divisional GOAT. Khamzat could get a defense or two and burn out like Weidman for all we know right now. People need to chill.

yes he would have ragdolled him easy probably finishes him in 2 rounds, its hard to accept but you know its the truth, anderson would had 1 punch a round chance to win this.

It’s not entirely unreasonable to think Chimaev could outwrestle Silva to a victory. Silva would have actually made it interesting by way of actually trying on the ground, though.

Without a question, but that's simply an unfair question due how strong wrestling is.

OK, sure, Khamzat takes down Anderson at will bc yes he's a great wrestler and better MMA grappler than Chael is.

But, I'm surprised nobody has pointed this out yet...
Silva is what a 3rd degree BJJ black belt? The only person as good at BJJ that Chimmy has fought is Burns (who is better), and Chimmy didn't want any of that on the ground.
Obviously vs Silva, standing up wouldn't be a good option for him- and Chimmy is a favorite on the ground. But Silva is very dangerous there, and would present problems for Chimaev on the ground.

My view is that Chimaev is a favorite vs Silva. Sports evolve, and Chimaev's wrestling would be a big problem for Silva. But to act like it wouldn't be an interesting fight or that Spider wouldn't present threats is also ridiculous

Anderson had a broken rib and Shale was juiced to the tits the 1st fight. Shale has some of the best blast doubles ever too but he didn't have the same success in the rematch against a healthy Anderson. Even in the 1st fight he stuffed a lot of TDs. Chris got him down but had his fair share of misses too. DC is the only guy who took him down at will and that's one of the best MMA wrestlers ever who is much bigger.

Shit Derek Brunson went 2/10 on TDs against Anderson and never had a round with as much success as he did against Dricus in round 1. This was against a shot Anderson post leg break.

Khamzat would get Anderson down but not as easily as he got Dricus down. Anderson had a much more dangerous guard and better BJJ in general than Dricus too. He was never close to being subbed after that wild flying scissor heel hook in PRIDE. Anderson fresh off the couch short notice against DC at 205, outweighed by 30lbs at least and DC couldn't get past his half guard for 15 minutes and this was in the middle of DC subbing Rumble, Hendo, Volkan yet he had no success but lay on Anderson with no offense despite at least a 30lbs advantage.

Lol.

Where u even around for Prime Silva..???

Silva by whatever he wants...almost everyone tried to take Silva down...he had takedown defense...and great BJJ and the stand up wouldnt even have been close ...

I mean it’s probably gonna be by striking.

khamzat’s plan would most likely be double leg and then move to take his back.

Silva would likely fall to his back and play guard...like he did everytime Chael tried power doubles...

1) saves energy

2)much more even position control wise

3) submission and elbow options

4) Khamzat is not Tito ortiz he's not KOing you from guard and he struggled passing burns Guard and could get tired trying

Silva has a good guard that’s not in question.

I do wonder if Khamzat would be able to pass his guard though or not be in a position where his guard comes into play like going for a body lock and slipping around to Silva’s back.

If they had fought I think Khamzat’s tactics would be like Sonnen but not complicit to pay in silvas guard mainly because he’s more of submission guy not really a GnP guy.

Remember when til was hanging all over khazmat ? lol wtf was that all about ? They went from bros to nothing. So weird

Khazmat will be rich, and til will be homeless on the streets of England or Brazil hiding from his baby mammas like a dead beat father he is.

The thrill & the agony folks. Crazy when you think about it

Chael was one minute away from beating Anderson easily. Khamzat would have sealed the deal. The fanboys want to believe Anderson would win but it wouldn't even be close
