World class BJJ....... he had very good BJJ. You don't need hyperbole.
Are you seriously calling people fanboys for acknowledging one of the GOATs
AND using hyperbole when you're also saying Khazmat would destroy everyone? You realize Anderson Silva has fought significantly more better fighters.
Anderson Silva has gotten laid and prayed by Sonnen, Cormier, and Henderson - all bigger and stronger than Khazmat, and none of them could pass his guard in a meaningful way. Khazmat would not be able to submit Anderson Silva. He would have to get a decision, but hes not getting the dominant positions he got on DDP who doesn't have any thing off his back.
Furthermore, Silva is significantly faster than Khazmat while having legitimate knock out power in 8 limbs. He is nowhere near the "worst matchup" for Khazmat - in fact you contradicted yourself. You cant say Khazmat is Silva and Sonnen's kryptonite when those two are totally different fighters. Doesn't even make sense.
So even if Khazmat was problematic for Silva, it definitely isn't "Silva's kryptonite" or anything Silva has never seen. Also, what the hell are you talking about by mentioning Sonnen and Weidman blue prints for beating Silva, therefore Khazmat would? Chris Weidman
outstruck Anderson Silva, he never even used his grappling.
Try watching the fights instead of just wikipeding guys and seeing that they have wrestling backgrounds. Chael Sonnen is also like 20 pounds heavier than Khazmat, the fact that you haven't even considered that is absurd.
Prior generations of MW have had WAY more good grapplers and wrestlers than this one (you think it's a given that Khazmat is outgrappling Jacare, Weidman, or Maia?). Guys with good guards and good takedowns were more prominent today.
Silva was the top fighter when grappling was the norm,
so much to the point that people actually thought striking was obsolete. That's how dominant of a striker he was.
