In Islam, ʿĪsā ibn Maryam (Arabic: عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ‎, lit. 'Jesus, son of Mary'), or Jesus, is the penultimate prophet and messenger of God (Allah) and the Messiah, who was sent to guide the Children of Israel with a new revelation: Injīl (Arabic for "gospel").[1][2]
He is thus one of the most mentioned people in the Quran by reference; 25 times by the name Isa, third-person 48 times, first-person 35 times, and the rest as titles and attributes.
In Islam, Jesus is believed to have been the precursor to the Islamic prophet Muhammad
Like all prophets in Islam, Jesus is also called a Muslim, as he preached that his followers should adopt the "straight path

Don't forget important part where he is supposed to kill the ad-Daǧǧāl

Christianity.. Catholicism ..judaism and muslim faith are just the same story told from a particular factions point of view...in the end there is Only One GOD among them...

Muslim and jewish people both believe there Gods people because of the story of Abraham...christianity and catholics faiths follow that of Jewish ideals in this case because Jesus himself was jewish...

Its really just an elaborate version of broken telephone, with a common goal in the end

God is GOOD
Wish more people knew this.

Wish more people knew this.

Best part. . .all the information is out there and easily accessible yet no1 seems to understand this..lol..

Jihadists are equal or no different then the christian crusaders of the past...just in a different time in human history ...jihadists are not a fair representations of muslims just like the crusaders arent of christians or catholics....many men have corrupted and used religion in the past for there own gains...more will do so in the future...God wouldn't have religion to separate us but to unite us...divisional thinking comes from mans ability of free will...the devil/satan/iblis has to just nudge us and we can go the extremist path on any side of the religious tree....

And i am a life long catholic/christian but i can see further then just my own faith because i seeked that knowledge for myself....not many are willing to unfortunately...its not sacrilegious to understand another faith ...it is to practice a faith other then the one true God...whos to say which of 3 claims that right...i like to believe they all do...as God intended ...1 God forever and ever..amen

Alot of people dont realise jewish scripture has some mean passages to it as well as christian and muslim all pitted to some degree agaisnt each other...these words come from the writers and maybe not so much from God...IMO..you have to remember when these things were first written the world was a much different place

To even think one is "chosen" or "god's chosen" or "savior" is ignorant. No god would accept one over the other.

Little humans and their fictional thoughts.

What is consciousness and how is it acquired? Can it be created in a lab? No.

I believe in a republican system where every demographic has a seat, but not where every single person has a seat.

More specifically I don't believe every single person over 18 deserves a vote; or that even 18 is a logical number, why not 16 as some argue?

Aside from the ethnic problems, which manifests itself in many countries. The gender disparity is routinely ignored.

Women are the majority of the populace, and that's during peace time. When there is a war, the male population drops dramatically.

Politicians cater to the largest vote bank, and if Women are the majority then laws are made in their favor. Today society is trying to be equal and equitable towards women, so laws that hold them back are being stripped. But what about laws that give them a leg up....or ten legs up? They aren't being rolled back.

Things like child-support and divorce-settlements were created for a world where female employment was rare and they needed these things. Now its being used completely unfairly. At the same time, they have literally INCENTIVIZED single parenthood and divorces and gold-digging. Even the welfare system in its current form is designed to promote broken families.

Another critique of modern democracy is that its not about who has the best policies, but rather about whoever has the biggest checkbook. The people who spend the most money are the ones who are going to win. They have the media, advertising and often the businesses in their pocket.

Ahhh... Here we go. We get to the crux of it. All your babbling is just the usual patriarchal nonsense.

It's just a small part of it. Did you miss my part about demagoguery? Because I'm an anti-racist as well. I mentioned three completely distinct things, but glad to know you noticed your trigger words.

It doesn't really matter what people think of my beliefs because that will always be the case. What you should worry about is the people trying to start a "race war" or a xenophobic "war of civilizations".

The points you make about some of the problems today are valid but there are bigger problems that can't be fixed. It's told in understanding history which isn't appropriate to discuss in this forum. Happy Holidays to you and your family!

Happy Holidays. We're all just bystanders. Nature takes its course until it all comes back to equilibrium. Rinse and repeat.

Well technically Muslims don't do Christmas but they do love Jesus so shit like this is probably fair game in 2020
Not really, some are OK with it but a hell of a lot aren't, probably 50/50. Mo Salah (famous soccer player) got a lot of grief from other Muslims on Twitter the other day for posting a picture of him celebrating Christmas with his family.

God is GOOD
Actually even Muslims believe that the Jewish people were "the chosen people".

I think he was being half satirical.
