Media Khamzat Chimaev new training footage

Why doesn´t the UFC do individual posters like this one

Love this fight. DDP can beat him standing but the biggest question is if Khazmat can ragdoll DDP to the ground with relative ease. If he does that at any point of the first round then DDP is cooked.

I think the biggest question is if DDP can survive the first round or two. IMO Khamzat will take DDP down but he tends to go so hard he fades later in the fight. If DDP can take it round 3 he has a good chance of winning.

People talk about DDP's size like Khamzat has never dealt with anyone that big. He out grappled and wrestled Hermansson while at WW, I said it before Whittaker and it fell on deaf ears. Also I said there's footage of the guy doing plenty of the work past the 1st round as far as his cardio goes.

It's very bizarre how narratives form like this guy is Mark Coleman 40 years old at HW with zero gas tank past the first round. DDP won't be a bull in a china shop this time or he's going to be on his back. Khamzat should be a pretty solid favorite. Also not many wrestlers have no gas tank especially grappling. Khamzat only looked tired after winging haymakers for fun for 3 rounds against Burns, but that was to put on a show.

I think it's because they want it to be true.
It also shows a lack of nuance, just because he's not as much of a machine past round 1 doesn't mean that he can't still be competitive and win rounds.
Kind of a black and white thinking.

That it's been repeated over and over again also make people believe it, if they're too intellectually lazy to examine the truth of it for themselves.

What's the coach's name at the end tank top hat bald head?? I can't remember and didn't expect to see him with Chimmy

Yep it's the hate that really blinds us. Many people who argue points like that here don't care to really think about it. I didn't like Khamzat's inactivity or weight miss against Nate, but I can put that into the category of being unreliable. When he shows up in the ring, he hasn't really found a worthy opponent yet. I've been waiting for Khamzat's titleshot for 5 years now and there's always been someone here saying he needs to do more to get one. I'm just happy we can put it to bed once and for all.

His gas tank issues are way overblown. He uses a ton of energy yes, but it also saps the energy of his opponents.

Watch his training videos where he's grappling hard for 10 straight minutes. Dude isn't a one round fighter and you're exactly right in that a lot of people just want to find something to denigrate about his game.

That exercise where they're planning and turning what looks like bike pedals seems like it would be awful.
