Talks about the fight, the injury he suffered in sparring before it happened and what his plans are for a return. He expects to be back next year and wouldn't mind reprising a canceled fight with jamahal hill

Big ups to Khalil wishing for a speedy recovery I hope he sleeps hill next year

Not many test Pereira but Khalil did... This loss increased his stock.

First thing I thought of too.

Rarely do you watch a fight where the guy who loses should move up in the rankings. That version of Khalil on Saturday night would have given any of the top 5 LHW contenders absolute fits. Pereira's punching reminds me of George Foreman so much, his punches don't look like they hurt a lot, but they obviously must. That first body shot at the end just folded Khalil.
 
Khalil is too tough for his own good.

That fight might cost him but Id rather appreciate his surviving instincts and his ability to keep his word and not trying a panic TD when it got ugly.
