First thing I thought of too.

Rarely do you watch a fight where the guy who loses should move up in the rankings. That version of Khalil on Saturday night would have given any of the top 5 LHW contenders absolute fits. Pereira's punching reminds me of George Foreman so much, his punches don't look like they hurt a lot, but they obviously must. That first body shot at the end just folded Khalil.

That was one of the most brutal beat downs I have seen in a while.

Alex surgically chopped him down, and into pieces.

The sound of those final two body shots were scary. He punches all the way through the target.

That fight might cost him but Id rather appreciate his surviving instincts and his ability to keep his word and not trying a panic TD when it got ugly.
