Khalil Rountree Jr's Oblique Kick ........

Your logic is challenged.

One of the reasons that we haven't seen many oblique kicks used is that there exists sort of a "gentleman's/gentlewoman's agreement" about not using them despite them currently being legal. Similar to the old foot stomp unofficial agreement that has been broken by a few. Not a biggie to me on that. Do something so that can't be in a position to fuck with you like that.

Think about the FEW oblique knee kicks thrown, and who threw them. Not the Sunday choir. Now, consider the HUNDREDS of fighters who have the ABILITY to throw oblique kicks to the knee all day, and CHOOSE NOT TO. Only a few known douches throw them, and the VAST majority of fighters DON'T. These are indisputable facts.
lmao

this is fighting, not the best friends gentleman competition

I can honestly say if you throw that strike you have no respect for your opponents health, safety, or career.
You arent supposed to.

Arona had respect, and he got powerbombed and headbutted at the same time.

This guy is a psychopath. When he first attempted the knee kick and missed I laughed out loud because it was so comical how viciously he threw the kick with all his might like it was a haymaker, I've never seen anything like it. It's like he wanted the guy to never walk again.

or just wanted to win

Brilliant technique!

This result can also be accomplished when you take someone's back while standing up. If you've ever seen an old school NFL horse collar tackle. No one ever does it though.
