Thank you. This is cage fighting were talking about, one of the most brutal sports in the world and people are complaining because it 'wasn't very sporting' what the fuck is that? These fighters know what they are signing up for when they step in that cage. This sport, ill take being low class to not get knocked the fuck out myself. I'll live with some forum members being mad.
If we can STOP pretending sports where you throw and catch balls to full contact fighting are the same, the better off we will all be.
Not sporting to me in fighting, would be like faking a glove touch or some shit like thatThank you. How is it low-class?
No, the uploader didn't make it available in your location and mine. That's probably why it won't load for me.
How so?It would also be a pain to enforce it.
Also love all these 'just bleed' fans here acting hard as from their keyboards and haven't stepped into a gym a day in their lives nevermind had a fucking fight yet they are the toughest guys in the world smoking weed from their sofa's when legit fighters like Aljo, Kelvin, Manuwa, Belal, Jouban and more last night basically were calling for it to be banned. You know people who actually fight in the sport, not forum warriors who think they are tough guys.
In Rugby and Aussie rules football jumping off your teammate is a logical and skillful way to get higher. There's nothing inherently "unsporting" about it. I get your point though, but would use a different example. Stomping on toes in unsporting in a completely different way than jumping off a teammate to get higher (which is just practical/creative).All sports have rules to disallow certain things that "aren't very sporting."
In the NFL, one of the rules involves not climbing on your teammate's back to try to block a kick/punt. It's sporting to jump as high as YOU can; it's not sporting to climb on your teammates back to get a boost.
In a sport fight, oblique kicking techniques to the knee aren't very sporting.
EDIT: Some put foot stomping in that category, too, but I actually have a soft spot for that because it can dissuade wall-and-stallers.
AgreedSomeone with enough rank needs to create a poll.
Retard logic here. Arm bars are different as the fighter gets a chance to tap before the damage is done. Check kicks can be avoided by not throwing the kick. This oblique kick is vastly different as it is the other fighter is throwing it at you, and if it lands right, it can instantly tear up your knee with all kinds of ligament damage. Same with how eye pokes are banned along with other moves, like small joint manipulation. Its legal and its not the first time it's been thrown by a long shot it just isn't always landed perfectly like here. I got no problem with it. The sport has had way more injuries with checked kicks and arm bars and nobody wants to remove those.
its a fuckin kick, not an eye poke.Retard logic here. Arm bars are different as the fighter gets a chance to tap before the damage is done. Check kicks can be avoided by not throwing the kick. Kicking someone just above the knee isn't bad, but when you kick someone on the knee like in this case, it can cause severe damage. Moves like this, should be banned. If not, then let everything be legal, like knees to head, head butt, groin strikes, eye gouging, etc. Why have any rules in place to begin with?
I fuckin love stomps on the feet. Every since Marco Ruas did itIn Rugby and Aussie rules football jumping off your teammate is a logical and skillful way to get higher.
