🦶 like he usually kicked against Poatan's 🦵, it'll be a replay of Weidman vs Silva 2.

I am a fan of watching Khalil's fights. He is exciting but his holes are seem like they won't be filled. He has settled very much into his style. He backs off from range fighters. He did it right off the bat against Smith as if he was expecting D1 Smith to show up. Even though his offence is very dangerous, his shell in defence leaves a lot to be desired. I know he'd prefer it against Poatan because he'd prefer a stand up bout and in fact, he has a striker's chance but he isn't much of a footwork fighter.

I thinK it would be a fun fight but Alex wins.

I also think Khalil needs 1 more win.

Rountree probably gets the loser of Walker/ank

Maybe rakic on short notice

I like the call out. Respectful. I think Khalil needs one more fight. Johnny Walker like someone else earlier said would be a pretty cool fight.

Should have called out someone in the top 5 or will be if they win(Jiri, Jan, Rakic, Krylov, Walker). He could have gotten one of those fights.

Khalil is exciting to watch for sure, dude got some pop

Alex smokes him within 2 rounds, tho. There are levels to this.

Probably needs at least one more good win before that. Unless Alex ends up losing the belt soon and they do a non title scrap in which case would make more sense. Be a fun fight though

He's gonna end up as a new addition on Alex's highlight reel if this fight happens.

I am cool with the matchup. I am assuming Alex will drop the belt sometime next year. Khalil can fight him then. Khalil also stays in relatively good shape. Let him be the backup fighter.

Either guy can win if it ends early

If it were to go past 2rds I'd favour Alex. Roundtree did not look comfortable when Smith would land in the 2nd and 3rd (before the stoppage).

He's so explosive though so he's a threat to anyone at 205 and Alex is not one to sit back and point fight. He goes for the kill and puts himself in harms way a lot - usually because he is the one to land first.

I'd favour Alex but would not be surprised if Roundtree won,

That said he, roundtree, is still like 2-3 fights way and Alex is probably 1 or 2 years from retirement so that fight is probably not on the radar.

Who will he drop the belt to? If he gets past Hill and Ank he won't be going anywhere.
