Khabib vs Tony is probably the most competitive fight in MMA history.

Tony looks very beatable khabib no way.

Fedor was the favorite of course, he was the defending champion, and virtually unbeaten. But not a single reasonable person counted Mirko out of that fight.

Fedor was considered a competent striker, with an overwhelming ground advantage. It was very clear that Mirko couldn't afford NOT to keep it standing, and that even on the feet he might not blow out Fedor if Fedor could mix it up. Fedor on the other hand had the clear path to victory in his ability to mix it up, and achieved it exactly as people thought he would given the skill differences in his favour. Fedor could strike with Mirko if he could slow him down on the ground, while Mirko couldn't grapple with him.

Obviously Mirko could have won, but that's no different than any other fighter with a specialty maybe being able to keep it in his realm. The majority of time it's not that easy though.

Its certainly right up there, its an epic fight and the build up for it has been so many years. I just pray it happens for real

humping another man in a cage no less, doesn’t sound very safe at all.
I know. I want to watch a good fight

but I don't want to see 25 mins of a guy trying to hold down another guy.

its kinda queer.
