Fedor had hands. Not trying to pick apart your analogy but Khabib ain’t no Fedor.

Hype wise? Maybe. Fighter wise? Not really.

Fedor also beat CroCop at his own game (standup), something we wont see from Khabib.

That’s what I should have said. They hype is real. I’m kinda salty it was announced so late. I usually NEVER watch preflight promotional stuff but I’m watching everything on that fight.

The main difference; I had zero concern that Fedor or Crocop might not make it to the ring.

Yeah this. I don't think TS meant fight-style wise anyway.

Cool to finally be pumped for a fight this massive.

I'm wondering what percentage of people answering this watched Fedor vs CroCop in 2005.

Fedor won the fight because half the fight he was on top of cro cop. He didn’t just choose to stand all fight. He wore him down in the first by spending over 5 minutes on top of cro cop. But yes fedor held his own with cro cop standing (arguably getting the better), which is unlikely for khabib.

I’m more ok with comparing Conor to Mirko. It’s by no means a perfect comparison.

I can see the analogy. Not perfect, but not bad.
