It isn't my fault that he kept fighting guys who weren't ranked. It also isn't my fault that his opportunity to fight top guys began before he was ranked but he pulled out or got injured.
Most top ten guys aren't clamoring to fight guys who don't have top ten wins, can't make it to fight night and drop out. When the UFC forced him into fifth he got top ten fights. It isn't a conspiracy. He isn't a victim. Due to his rabid following and Khabib affiliation, he got pushed higher than most would in the rankings at fifth. I'm not saying he isn't talented, but again, he's no victim. He's career is now seeing a natural progression now that he's fighting more often.
