Media Khabib think Gaethje dont deserve TS.

Good luck getting Justin to agree to that though lol

Justin will eventually agree to what's on the table when the UFC decides what it wants to do. If they give Islam the spot, Gaethje will take another fight whether he likes the situation or not. Or he'll sit on the sidelines and miss opportunities, just like Islam did when he fought infrequently and pulled out. It is what it is.

I can definitely see RDA beating Daruish. RDA is a killer but he's getting old. RDA may also be able to outclass Gaethje so long as he doesn't choose to just brawl with him, but it's tough to tell.
I think Gaethje would crush him just because he’s on the backend of his career, Dariush maybe, I would still pick Dariush over him though.

I’m still pissed he wasted so much of his prime at 170, he could’ve been a top contender at 155 all these years. That was such a bad move.

I've never said he's a "victim" yet you've used that word half a dozen times in this thread,.

Do you always put words in people's mouths?

Islam is a very likely future long-reigning champ, has a ton of fans and enjoys life. Hardly a victim of anything.

You guys have been acting like he's been done an injustice for a few years around here. He isn't a victim. You guys have been framing him as one. I supposed I could find a euphemism if it would please you more. Islam huggers are so damn aggressive, yet so particular or sensitive. Got damn. Now go back to your hugging. I'm gonna watch this horrible football game.

I said good luck getting Justin to fight Islam in a contender bout, not good luck getting Justin to take another fight if UFC gives Islam the next TS

RDA's strength of schedule is nuts. I think he's getting too old, but he could maybe pull out a win against Beneil. Not sure. He's definitely the better striker.
I hear he has got his stuff together when it comes to nutrition and weight cutting. He hired a nutritionist.

Before he would walk around 195, now he doesn't. He walks around like 170-175. Makes a huge difference (obviously lol).

The weight cut was what killed him in the Eddie fight. He was passed out in the shower for like 2-3 full minutes before the fight.

So you put words in people's mouths then can't admit it either. Sad!

He never should have made that walk against Eddie but the guy is a fucking warrior. Horrible decision.

I mean that's nice, but Khabib has an obvious conflict of interest on that particular topic.

No. Most top ten fighters had no reason to give a guy not ranked, and then barely ranked in the top 15 a shot. He beat a fringe top ten guy, got pushed up to fifth and promptly fought a top ten guy, like most fighters would who are top ten. But yes, he was the victim. Let's create this false narrative, lol.

False narratives are one of my least favorite aspects of MMA. Fighters and the UFC use them as a tool and it's endlessly annoying.

Huh? I'm framing your posts as they were for the last few years along with the plethora of huggers in here. You're acting like a child now, lol.

Moving on...

He had bad weight cuts back then and would walk around at 195. Now he has a nutritionist and walks around 170-175.

I wouldn't underestimate RDA. At WW he was doing good against everyone except the top grapplers. He's a monster when it comes to striking and I really do think he would beat Daruish, but idt we will see it because they are good friends I hear.

No clue about RDA vs Gaethje, RDA has better skillset imo, but like you said RDA is on the end of his career. You never know tho, RDA is a guy who has had multiple career resurgences.

Whaaaat? I didn’t know that, always seemed weird that fight ended the way it did. Prime RDA will forever be underrated unfortunately.

I just think he’s older and slowing down, even though I wish he stayed at 155, yeah what he did at 170 is extremely impressive. Most fighters would never dream of accepting fight after fight of the best guys in the division above you and getting very little recognition for it. Unbelievable.

Islam confirmed that he has best MMA ground game in LW division and that "this is not jiu jitsu". :) He said this iin his octagon interview
He says he does, but against someone like Oliveira who also has phenomenal skills on the mat alongside his ability to pull off submissions (Doesn't he have the highest number of submission wins in the UFC or something?), I doubt that Islam taking Oliveira down to the mat and controlling him there is easy as he's making it out to be.

Oliveira might even welcome the fight being taken to the ground instead if Islam decides to utilize his bread and butter (grappling).

Moving on...

Hey its no big deal bud lol, yeah let's move on, agree to disagree :)

I'm sick of the one fight win streak title shots, it was the same shit with "Ortega 2.0" they gave him another title shot with just one fight in like 2 years and got another life altering beating, let this guys go on win streaks and respect the other contenders.

Yup. At his Prime RDA was a monster. He decimated Cowboy, Benson, Pettis, Diaz etc. Even in his last LW fight before moving up to WW, he was beating Tony before Tony landed a disgusting eyepoke.

RDA's skillset was great, excellent striking and great grappling. His streak during his Prime was great, only a loss to a younger Khabib which is no shame as Khabib is the LW GOAT.

Islam proved it by saying it in his octagon interview, i posted screenshots with subtitles earlier. He wouldn't say it if it wasn't true.
