Khabib seemed so unique, but we already have two who do it better

Khabib was 60% decisions in his first 10 fights in UFC (for example Conor only had 20% decisions in his first 10 ufc fights). People who get title shots quickly finish the majority of their fights. Outside of WMMA there wouldn't be many other examples of fighters winning the majority of their 10 in UFC with only 40% being finishes.

It is true he had 3 finishes at the end to make the record look better. It seems clear to me be improved significantly at the end since the people he finished were harder fights than the ones he failed to finish.
Khabib's finishes had absolutely nothing to do with him not getting a title shot dude. He was next in line for a title shot after his 6th fight. And there are dozens of male fighters with much lower finish rates.

It's a bizarre narrative you're trying to spin.

He's not unique. He simply never fought one single bad style matchup since losing to Tibau. He realized that if he can't ragdoll an opponent in grappling, he can't guarantee winning, so since that loss he ducked anyone he couldn't manhandle on the ground. There's a reason he avoided guys like Oliviera even though they were in the same division at the same time.

I can't ever recall there ever being any noise about the UFC wanting to put together Oliveira vs Khabib. The fact they didn't fight doesn't mean Khabib ducked him. Oliveira has had a very up & down career, at 1 point he looked like he was gonna end up being a bust. He's been out of the top 10 for a good chunk of his UFC tenure. Oliveira has only been regarded as a top 5 fighter since 2021. Dustin & Justin were both more highly ranked than Oliveira at the time Khabib defended against them.

Current top 10 according to Sherdog:

Oliveira
Poirier - Khabib finished
Gaethje - Khabib finished
Dariush - was never a serious title contender until recently, borderline top 10 for most of his UFC life
Islam - friends, they were never gonna fight
Chandler - was not even top 10 until he signed with the UFC, came to UFC same time Khabib retired
Hooker - not a grappler
Ferguson - Khabib signed to fight 5x, yes, a couple of the cancellations was Khabibs fault, Tonys too
Dos Anjos - Khabib won
Gillespie - never a serious title contender, fought no one ranked until Lee (who TKO'd him)
