Media Khabib Easily Outgrappling Bellator LHW Champ Corey Anderson Today

Yeah, good thing I wrote "in the first year in the UFC" in the same sentence as well, or that would've been embarrassing, right? Because remember when he went up against Bonnar and lost a round in a decision? Safe to say he wasn't quite at that level yet in his first year.
Sounds like khabib wasn’t good enough to enter the ufc as young as jones, just like he wasn’t good enough to be a champion as young as jones. Or as long.

Please name a fighter that don't cut weight.

Dustin Poirier admitted that he was 190 while fighting 145.
They all cut weight sir, no disrespect.
Ever heard of Jailton? Aspinall?

Khabib is LHW right now so this argument makes no sense. It's not like he is ''outgrappling'' him while being 155

100 percent. The haters can cope but nobody has ever been as dominant in an mma cage. Jon Jones has a better resume but he’s had many life and death battles in the cage, arguably lost a couple.
To be fair Khabib's competition domination has been done by Jones as well if you compare title defences/ number of UFC fights.
Khabib had 13 UFC fights with 3 title defences during that time frame he lost a round to Conor/Justin and had one competitive bout when he was green vs Tibau
Jones at his 3 title defences had a competitive bout with Bonnar when he was green and only lost a round to Rashad (maybe Machida as well)

Jones run is just as dominant had he retired at the same amount of title defences as Khabib and that also evades the peds allegations since he didn't pop until the DC era. If we compare 13 UFC fights vs 13 UFC fights Jones also racked up dominant wins vs Vitor/Chael after his Rashad title defence while showing slight adversity as well (Trt Vitor armbar 1st round/toe snap)

GSP outgrappled Sonnen all day and Sonnen >>>>> Corey Anderson

Jon didn't get challenged until his 14th UFC fight and then record 6th title defence against Gus.

Khabib by contrast only had 13 UFC fights and 3 defences.

Fuck outta here using fights Khabib never even had against Jones. It's almost like more fights = more chances for hard fights.
I should have read this before my response, we basically echoed the same sentiments, I'm expecting to be called a Jones fanboy just for pointing out the obvious.

There's a short footage of prime WW GSP wrestling on par with then Prime LHW champion Rashad Evans in practice leading up to UFC 94 against BJ Penn, does that mean GSP could beat Rashad in a fight?

It's practice footage ffs

Definitely not.

Khabib has a history of cheating. One of the most glaring examples is his last fight before joining the UFC. His opponent was a regional journeyman with 20+ losses and Khabib still felt the need to cheat by grabbing the ropes to prevent a takedown. Khabib's cheating was so egregious that the referee finally took a point away.

Here is another example. Khabib cheated by shamelessly grabbing Tibau's shorts to try to stop takedowns. Even with Khabib cheating, Tibau was still able to take him down.

Khabib also cheated repeatedly on the scale. He missed weight against Trujillo. He no-showed the weigh-ins with the interim belt on the line at UFC 209 against Tony Ferguson because he was overweight. Khabib eventually would only fight in Abu Dhabi without an athletic commission, so he could do sham weigh-ins.
Your tears brighten my day. Cry forever!

Nah that’s crazy. Corey is probably the best wrestler in the LHW division and he looks like a tipped over cow trying to get up in this clip

I'm hardly a professional fighter or a serious grappler, but I really find it hard to believe that someone who is even passingly familair with MMA/grappling training could look at a 7 second video of grappling that shows no transitions and conclude that this is impressive.

Khabib very obviously showed serious skills as a grappler, but this doesn't show anything whatsoever.

We have no idea what's happening here. Is Corey drilling positions from his back? are they working on a specific maneuver/submission from this position? Has Corey just been working for the last 10 minutes straight as fresh opponents are cycled in?

Really, this video shows nothing at all.

Yes, you heard it here first.

Everything is possible if you are deep enough in the bathtub.

Can you point with your finger where uncle Khabib touched you on that christmas night?
