Khabib details his strategy against McGregor (takedowns, left hand)

Khabib ducking the entire division? stfu.

Tony Ferguson just pulled out on him.

All those guys you listed for Conor are strikers. You seem like a casual who is not cerebral enough for this discussion. Go now.
So what's your fucking point noob

You obviously just started watching

Chuck Liddell,Anderson Silva, mirko cro cop, Jose Aldo, overeem,Shogun (in pride) wand and countless other strikers have since 2002 been called over rated shit cans because "they can only beat up on wrestlers"

Now you're here saying that an elite striker isn't really good because he hasn't beaten a wrestler yet lmao

You obviously have no idea

You listen to Joe too much.

Khabib is statistically one of the the least hit fighters in the UFC. Al said he couldn't hit him and he hits everyone.

This is supposedly Khabib's most damaging striking exchange in the UFC according to Joe.

Head movement, rolling with the shots and covering effectively.

Pretty much. Guy has been fighting his whole life, never lost in MMA and people think he gets wobbled all the time ala Eddie and is an easy target.

His wrestling game is too lethal. GSP slapped Condit around because Condit was literally backing away every time Georges took an inch. He knew that he had to stay as far away as possible and when you go back to see that first TD it's so lightning fast you could blink and miss it. Other than Condit's sneaky ass beaut of a head kick, he was never in that fight for exactly that reason.

The difference between Conor and Condit is that Conor gives no fucks about TDD. He's so confident in himself that he'll spam kicks against wrestlers because of his belief in his ability to beat them anyway. Against a vast majority of his opponents, he's been right. Nate made him pay for it and Khabib is at least two tiers above Nate in grappling and that's not an insult. Conor had better sleep Khabib early because after the first TD and subsequent smeshing for the rest of the round he's going to be too tired for a thunderbolt KO.

They all had too much pride in their standup. Every single one of them. Which is not surprising considering they're all primarily strikers, other than Chad, who is a good striker on top of being an accomplished wrestler and found Conor's chin frequently.
Khabib will expose Conor. Cant wait for the circus to end.

I know intricacies of details of this game that you don't even know the names of<5>

I don't care what the simple folk on these forums have been saying, Conor fought one wrestler in his career who was a fw and spent 6 of 9.5 minutes on his back.

That happens against the much bigger and better Khabib and he's burger.

No he hasn't
He has fought plenty Wrestling centric fighters
Alverez,Brimage and mendes in the UFC and plenty more outside of it...

The reason mendes was able to take Conor down is because he has the boxing to threaten with his hands, he has the speed and footwork to keep Conor guessing AND he is much shorter then Conor which made ducking under Conor's shots very possible

Khabib is a flat footed, slow, wild bull rusher who is going to be asleep by the first minute in the second round....

There's nothing you're going to be able to say to change that fact

He has every strike in the book. Great kicks, that keep his range, but many of them hard and nasty. He hits people with switch kicks. Throws at times unpredictable shit like spinning back fists, and kicks. He is a tremendous body striker. Not puncher to the body, striker to the body. Throws combos, hitting the body finishing to the head. And what makes him so great is that range. He is long and fights long. Keeps you at the end of his reach, and lays traps you fall into. The left is his finishing punch but he leads you into it with so many other attacks and traps. Khabib is NOT I repeat NOT marching forward with bad striking and just getting a hold of him.

that shit didn't work against nate, floyd, or the other bums that beat conor. Also, it's all out the window at the 8 minute mark once he gasses and is grasping for air. And Khabib does not have to run in on conor like most guys who he finishes do. It's been proven that the best way to close the distance is put your guard up, and put your head on his chest. hell even he's admitted he doesn't know how to handle that. Khabib doesn't need this diverse arsenal of punches. A simple 1-2 put conor on panic mode. Once Conor throws a left whether it hits or not and khabib does not fall on his ass, he'll be in range to tie conor up and toss him. This fight is not on khabib to close the distance, it's on Conor to keep it standing.

"Wrestling centric fighters". Yeah, they're not wrestlers.

Conor has fought one good offensive wrestler in his career who had no training camp, Chad Mini Mendes.

It's history revisionism to suggest otherwsie.

The only reason Conor accepted this fight is because Khabib is undefeated and it will be his excuse after the loss and the beat.

Yeah nothing to do with the fact Khabib has his belt or what happened in Brooklyn. Everything to do with having an “excuse to lose”. Smh. If he fought anyone else not named Khabib you would be saying he’s ducking him. Haters going to hate.

You have to give Conor credit, this is first the wrestler or regular sized person Conor has fought who weren't last minute replacements with no time to have training camps <mma4>

He going to get smesh

huh what about porier nate holloway alvarez, showing your ignorance llike this isn't cool man

So his game plan is to do what he does in every single fight against Conor and his team? Lol. This dude is getting slept. Hes one dimensional and proud of it.
I hope he gets starched but I doubt it. If his one dimensional style is so bad, why has he been smashing so many fighters?

Holloway was a skinny little kid when McGregor fought him and him and Dustin both had a shorter reach, and Eddie a midget.

None of them can wrestle either...especially at the time of the fight. All inferior strikers and favorable matchups.

Nate kicked Conor's ass so I'm not sure why you're bringing him up?

nate fluked a win the first time , then conor foguht him again and beat him i bet you didn't know this since you discovered mma recently, alvarez is not a midget what the hell are you talking about? he's 1 inch shorter and he walks around heavier than conor, holloway wasn't skinny 1 year later he fought cub and looked so much bigger, dustin is not smaller either he's a fit 180 pounder

Shorter men who were also strikers who thought they could hand with Conor on the feet, all of them, shorter reach other than Nate and we saw what happened there.

You do realise khabib has a 4 inch reach disadvantage as well right

Or is that gonna become your excuse

Khabib doesn't want to strike with Conor like everyone else did. He's a wrestler. This only worsens Conor's chances.

Chuck Liddell, Anderson Silva, Mirko CroCop and Jose Aldo all have superb grappling in one way or another.

Conor is a very good striker, but his grappling is shit.

Mendes had Conor on his back because he's the only wrestler Conor has ever faced. Who are you trying to kid?

Khabib would absolutely handle Mendes, and Conor on the same night. You're comparing a FW to a guy who manhandles Rockhold and is said to feel like a LHW/HW to those who have been underneath him.

He has way more of a diverse range of td's than Mendes and a single to close the distance which is superior against Conor's wide sprawling stance than a power double.

Khabib also has vastly superior top control. Conor won't be let up. He's nearly defenseless off his back. Khabib will eat him alive.

Conor has been fed midgets and strikers in his entire career.

The only times he wasn't were against Nate (non midget) and Mendes (wrestler) and the only reason he took those unfavorable matchups is because they had no training camps and were last minute fill ins. Both of them gave him fits. Wake up and smell the roses.

27-0

Khabib is the favorite for a reason. GSP picked Khabib against Conor, the same guy that picked Conor over Diaz 2 and Alvarez. Not because he's emotionally invested, but because, being the GOAT, he understands how easy it is to nullify a single weapon (left hand) if you can actually wrestle.
This guys gonna be salty.... real salty...
