Media Khabib’s Record

I do nit want to take this as an oportunity to put down Khabib as he a fantastic fighter. This is something level headed fans have said all along tho. Khabib's 29 - 0 record is not what it seems.

Very few of his fights before UFC were actaully good serious wins. We knew that tho amd it was awesome seeing what he could do once he came to the big show.

In the end it does not matter as Khabib came to the UFC and dominated every round he fought amd became a defending champion. Tony is correct. How would his overall record appear to an outsider with those stoppage wins on his official record, a lot better.

khabib's record is much like this room

Can't stand Tony, even when he was still winning. That said, you can't be the P4P GOAT when you only have 5 elite wins in your whole career. Khabib is without a doubt the LW GOAT though.

Tony might be the dumbest fighter on the roster

Tony also thinks he mentally broke Oliviera...after being completely dominated and outclassed the entire 15 minutes and being saved by the bell

Tony also quit in the Gaethje fight. Shaking your head after getting hit and running away is the same as a verbal tap

Tony getting more pathetic by the day
Tony is such a WEIRD Fighter and i think he is done and he is not young anymore he will be 37 this year

He also tapped against RDA and lost to Tibau.
27-2 is still good even if 20 of the fighters have zero wins in their resume because anything can happen in MMA.

Kabeb is the result of a heavily padded record, a ufc lw roster with no other grapplers other than Tony, a highly inteligent father who cherrypicked his opponend and intentianally initiated some "pull outs" of Kabib when he feared that his little boy could lose, and a little bit of luck...

but what is his MMA record now? It honestly does not matter how good you are in another sport if you're crap in MMA. No-one has given Randy Couture credit for beating James Toney, despite Toney being a world champ in multiple divisions; why? Because it's not MMA.
Sambo is the closest thing to MMA mate. Terrible comparison. Boxing and MMA have only one common thing.

This is why the people that make such a big deal about him being 29-0 need to calm down. Plenty of people have went on big streaks outside of the UFC but in the UFC it's different. His 13 fight win streak in the UFC is what's impressive. He wasn't fighting in Bellator or StrikeForce before the UFC, he was fighting in small promotions primarily against guys with terrible records. I see him as 13-0 not 29-0.
Khabibs record before he came to the UFC is more impressive than most fighters and certainly Tony Ferguson. Khabib was fighting same night tournaments on the regular preparing for 3 fighters on one night. That's more impressive than having to prepare for just one fighter and if you wanna bring up the quality of opponents let's go. Name one Tony Ferguson opponent he fought before UFC that has gone on to become a champ in a serious organization? I can name many with Khabib.

Khabib is 29-0 and that's the end of it.

I feel like the UFC really made him work for his title shot.

It's almost like they did not want a Russian Champion.

The guy who made his debut against Khabib was a 3 times national Combat Sambo champion from Moldova.
Also Master of Sports in Combat Sambo, Judo and Army hand-to-hand Combat.
Lol who cares, where is he now. Sambo has proven to be niche with only two guys becoming relevant and you could argue that was more due to their judo experience

Closest thing to mma , training their entire life and how many top 10 ufc fighters have sambo base right now? Islam zero top 15 wins. Ububajar tapped to white belt euro. Sambo world champ KOd by wrestler khamzat in regionals

Tony Ferguson needs to stfu and go work on the basic fundamentals of fighting.

Also he should be happy he never faced khabib. khabib would beat him half to death causing more CTE.l

If I was the mans wife I would leave with their son and never return

Wouldn't surprise me if this psycho pulled a benoit

Classic post from @balkanbomber85.. the misspelling of the name, the accusation of padding etc.

Absolute retardation.

What pullouts do you think Abdulamanap initiated..? I'm curious to hear your conspiracy..

Ok how many of the no name's Khabib fought before the UFC went on to become champs in a big organization? 0. Only one that did anything is the 5'6 featherweight Shamhalaev. He managed to win 3 fights in Bellator. Also why bring up Tony? Did I say Tony had an impressive career before the UFC? There was a guy that went 30-0 before losing in Bellator. Khabib is 13-0 in the UFC, if he wants to say 29-0 he should win 16 more in the UFC. His fights before the UFC might as well have been amateur fights.

Lol what. Yes it was the ufc not khabib getting injured and missing weight.

Not denying injuries and missing weight, but even taking that into account, I feel like he had to wait more than others for his first shot.
