He's a highly entertaining fighter whose victories are almost entirely via submission or knockout, and he consistently fights three or more times per year, but let's queue the parade of sherdog losers reminding us that he "sucks" because he isn't a top 5 fighter.

Holland's personality is a little weird, but I dgaf. Wish more guys fought as often as he does. UFC likes him because he's reliable and does try to finish. He has tons of fights where he gives up, but he looked good against Gunnar. Still I think he's regressed and Gunnar is out the door, so he's not going to get many more free wins.

He says "yes" whenever the phone rings, even week of the fight, regardless of how bad it is for his overall career... he now openly admits he's not interested in a belt or being the best, he just wants to get paid.

Consider he fights for cheap, this is a really good fit for UFC brass.

He’s also on record said that fighters who complain about fighter pay are bums that don’t fight enough.

I have no problem with Holland making $1.5-2 mil a year fighting 3-4 x.

Fans loved cerrone for doing the same thing. He'll never be champ but he's reliable and can be entertaining. Why not cash in as much as possible? Gravy train can only last so long.
