Regimen Kettlebell workout progress

12 mile hike in place of swings today, back at it tomorrow

I found out Steve Cotter passed away. Pretty big guy back in the day for kettlebell training and one of the few kettlebell instructors that could actually demonstrate legit skill with a kettlebell.

Worth a look if anyone in this thread hasn't seen his stuff before.

Yeah a little bit ago, was training with his son and had a heart attack. EMS took a while to get there, not sure if their location was remote. He was a beast for sure. Jerking two 32kg in one hand, among other feats. Very strong dude.

500 swing with the 24kg, all I could manage with being crippled from hiking yesterday

Challenge might be over for me too. 12 mile hike in freezing weather with 1k feet of elevation destroyed my immune system and I woke up with a fever.

Might as well post an update -
Perhaps this may not have been the best idea but since I strained the muscle in my neck I haven't trained whatsoever. Probably should have at least done bodyweight squats, but I hate to admit it but I've been lazy.

My neck has been healing gradually as I have mostly been still doing 2MAD, Two Meals A Day, with both in a 2-hour window and fasting for 22-ish hours.

Going to try a 20-minute workout on Monday to with a 20-pound KB and see how my neck muscle feels.

Pretty sure 1000-rep 1-hour workouts will be a thing of the past for me.
At maximum they will be 30 minutes, but ideally 20 minutes.
Honestly I didn't feel much of a difference in the results from the 60 minute workouts in comparison to the 30 minutes.

Yeah dude just bang out some EMoM work and call it a day. 20 reps a minute for 20 mins is 400 reps. Definitely still pushes the cardio.

I had double front squats with 2x 24s after some heavy singles on Sumos Deadlifts (at Double Bodyweight). I lost control of the bells during one of my reps trying to squat in the rack position and had to dump a bell forward. I haven't done that in years haha. Lucky I had a mat under me. I have been doing TGU again and makes me realize what damage they can do if you drop a bell in the wrong place.

Scale is down 11lbs since starting the 10k swing challenge. 32kg for 500 is now "easy"

If you find them for not-Kettle-Bell-Kings prices then let us know.

I'm thinking of getting one 75 pounder for swings, but as for farmer walks I'm thinking of filling two buckets with concrete and make some handles out of steel piping. Bet I could get each bucket up to 100 pounds.
Maybe a little late, but I brought Virtufit, which sells them at least in the EU for less than €100 for the 32 kg, and €110 for the 40kg ones

Snatching the 48kg for sets of 10 now. Feels good.
I have always to grab 2x 40s to round out my 2 adjustable 32s.

That for a set of 10 snatches is a good number. Regardless of size, weight etc a 48kg for a set of 10 is big boy kettlebell numbers.

Rogue had a flash sale on the old version of monster kettlebells. Couldn't resist getting a 176lbs lol
