kari lake took a random poll the other day and asked a controlled subject of people who they wanted to win the governor election. i guess thats supposed to be her proof that her election was stolen or something lol

these people are batshit crazy. going off a clip i seen the other week of a "sovereign citizen" performing an exorcism inside of his car to try to dispel the demons and avoid being arrested by the satanic police officer who pulled him over, i kinda get the feeling that this kind of tactic isnt going to work.

the supreme court just rejected 6 out of kari lake's 7 claims and struck her down, and they are sending her back to a trials court before that last claim gets dumpstered too.

Arizona Supreme Court Turns Down Kari Lake’s Appeal in Her Election Lawsuit

The justices refused to hear Ms. Lake’s claims disputing her loss in the governor’s race, but sent one part of her lawsuit back to a trial court for review.

Arizona’s Supreme Court on Wednesday denied a request from Kari Lake to hear her lawsuit disputing her loss last year in the governor’s race. The lawsuit was based on what the court said was a false claim by Ms. Lake, a Republican, that more than 35,000 unaccounted ballots were accepted.

In a five-page order written by Chief Justice Robert Brutinel, the court determined that a vast majority of Ms. Lake’s legal claims, which had earlier been dismissed by lower courts, lacked merit.

“The Court of Appeals aptly resolved these issues,” Chief Justice Brutinel wrote, adding that the “petitioner’s challenges on these grounds are insufficient to warrant the requested relief under Arizona or federal law.”

But the justices on Wednesday ordered a trial court in Arizona’s most populous county, Maricopa, to conduct an additional review of that county’s procedures for verifying signatures on mail-in ballots, keeping one part of her lawsuit alive.

The decision dealt another setback to Ms. Lake, a former television news anchor whose strident election denialism helped her to gain the endorsement of former President Donald J. Trump.

Ms. Lake tried to put a positive spin on the ruling, contending on Twitter that remanding the signature verification aspect of her case back to the trial court was vindication.

i wonder if she'll bring back that mike lindell spokesperson as her "expert cyberwitness" and have him destroy her own legal argument again, just like they did the last time they tried to challenge the printer issues with the early ballots?

maybe this time she'll tell her "witnesses" to fake a seizure this time before they go up to the bench for their cross examination? the moment they actually have to go off the script kari lake gave to them and they have to open their mouths and answer any questions, they are fair dinkum fucked.

this is great. this maga trash is not done losing yet. now we get to watch her lose some more in a completely frivolous case that will go nowhere! diaper don lost arizona 7 or 8 times in just one election. not sure what number we are on with kari lake right now, at least 3 or 4, but its starting to get up there too!

To be fair, this was the most important part of her case that the initial judge refused to look at, despite whistle blowers and other evidence that they were not allowed to use. And now supposedly they will get access to those ballots. Most people don't know about the 2020 audit, but the most important part was thousands of ballots with no or obviously mismatched signatures. Of course people were gas lighted about that, and the actua AZ legislature clip with its presentation on signature verification was removed from twitter, facebook, youtube.

It also gives good precedent in future cases cause so many of the 2020 cases were not even heard due to "latches", which is the stupidest reasoning ever. Like if the claim is these ballots with poor signatures were counted, the remedy should be to be able to investigate them. But it, and similar things were dismissed because it was already after the fact, so you can only file a suit for future things... but then you can't get access to the ballots to then make the case for future things. It is ridiculous. So that alone sets future precedent and if needed in the future may get the US supreme court to review in future election related cases.
