Social Karen Bass and Trump get in a heated back and forth

Who do you think is right here?

Trump wants the people to be able to go and start cleaning their burnt up house now

But homeowners need a permit in order to start doing so. The people said it usually takes 18 months to get the permit, but Karen Bass says she can get them permits in a week

But Trump is pushing back and says a week is too long and they should be able to get a dumpster and start cleaning this very moment

It's a safety concern, Karen Bass says

What the fuck does 3 times married Trump know about cleaning up a disaster area?

Probably the most clear, direct example of a corrupt politician ever, taking advantage of a natural disaster to seize control of people's property and exploit them for personal gain.

Trump called out exactly what Karen Bass wants to do, which has nothing to do with safety. She wants to force city control over everything so she can shop out contracts for a dozen different unnecessary things and pocket her cut of every one of them.

While it is not the case for everyone, there are a lot of wealthy people impacted by these fires that are fully capable of handling their own recovery, continuing to hold their land and lives hostage is further political suicide for Democrats.
Who is doing what now?
• Declare a “national energy emergency.” This is both a symbolic measure reflecting Trump’s promise of energy expansion but also specifically urges federal use of eminent domain and the Defense Production Act, measures that allow the government to commandeer private land and resources to produce goods deemed to be a national necessity.

Trump claims you have more oil than anyone, that he doesn't need Canada's, and to boot it's definitely true that the US is already producing more than ever before. Yet, he needs to declare an energy emergency to make it easier to seize the land of anyone his new rich friends ask him to. The cognitive dissonance of people who accept these contradictions unquestioningly is remarkable.

Exactly. No one did it because it was never actually suggested.

I'm trying to help you. Stop repeating this propaganda. It really makes you seem like you're either grossly uninformed or a straight up liar who likes talking shit to and about people you don't even know. There's no other angle.

You're not helping....posting ina thread about trump talking nonsense to a mayor about emergency cleanup...this is on pont for Trump as he usually talks out of his ass like the covid press conference where he suggested bleach injections into little babies to protect them from becoming trannies.

And the teumpers call him brilliant just like before...its predictable

The only reason you even posted in this thread was to talk down to Trump voters.

Shouldn't be up to Bass or Trump, health and emergency recovery personnel should be setting up the rules.

What exactly did Trump say word for word unedited about the bleach?
So What Did Trump Actually Say?

On April 23, 2020, Trump conducted an hourlong media briefing with members of the government's coronavirus task force (transcript).

The then-president spoke several times throughout the conference, but just over 26 minutes in, he took over from the head of the science and technology directorate at the Department of Homeland Security, Bill Bryan, who had just been discussing the use of ultraviolet light and disinfectants — such as bleach and isopropyl alcohol — to kill the virus rapidly on nonporous surfaces.

In an apparent reference to Bryan's earlier comments, Trump then said:

THE PRESIDENT: Thank you very much. So I asked Bill a question that probably some of you are thinking of, if you're totally into that world, which I find to be very interesting. So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it's ultraviolet or just very powerful light — and I think you said that that hasn't been checked, but you're going to test it. And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way, and I think you said you're going to test that too. It sounds interesting.

ACTING UNDER SECRETARY BRYAN: We'll get to the right folks who could.

THE PRESIDENT: Right. And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So, that, you're going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds — it sounds interesting to me.

Four minutes later, a journalist responded to Trump's disinfectant comments by askingwhether there was any scenario in which cleaning products like bleach and isopropyl alcohol would be injected into people.

Bryan replied first, saying: "No, I'm here to talk about the findings that we had in the study. We won't do that within that lab, our lab."

Trump then clarified his own remarks, adding: "It wouldn't be through injection. We're talking about through almost a cleaning, sterilization of an area. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't work. But it certainly has a big effect if it's on a stationary object."

That UV light treatment is a real thing too.

I do, I remember it well. He never one time said "Go inject bleach" and you know it. Stop repeating this lie. Its not clever. You're not changing anyone's mind who knows what he really said and you're not recruiting anymore sheep to your side with it. It just makes you look ridiculous.

is bleach not a disinfectant now or something?

is this AI? did bleach boy not actually say that? but if he did did he not actually mean it? and if he did mean it then it's no big deal because others have said dumber shit right?

You do know it was a press conference in front of the cameras right....

His claim was retarded and you clowns called it brilliant....just like his visit to California and his retarded ignorant comments he makes again without having a clue about what he's talking about

the best part about it is watching the chuds do their mental gymnastics.

right after trump gets up there on tv and starts talking about injecting disinfectant to cure a disease the maga trash are all like "trump's a genius! he's thinking outside of the box! brilliant idea!"

and then then next day after it blew up and the entire world is laughing at him and they had enough and pulled him off of his daily tv briefings, he does his most pathetic attempt to try to walk it back by saying he was just being sarcastic. so now the maga trash start doing the dance and they're all like "can't you idiots see that he was just joking? he was being sarcastic! don't you all understand the joke? people were losing their jobs and watching their loved ones get sick or die and are turning to our leader for guidance and our leader was up there attacking the reporters and health professionals, bragging about his tv ratings, and making jokes about injecting disinfectant. you see, isn't it funny? grow a sense of humor man!"

you know i bet that sarcastic little joke of his he made while he was playing for the tv cameras during a health crisis is probably what caused him the election. if he at least would have just pretended to give even the tiniest little chicken fried fuck about covid he probably would have had the election in the bag.

Man... In context it's even worse.

Thanks for posting that!!!
