Idk, I don’t have a lot of sympathy for the guy. Companies don’t have to “make sure the punishment fits the crime” in most cases (at will employment). The dude is on video assauling the girl and could have hurt her worse than she was hurt. Under the cbo they can cut him and they did (he was probably getting suspended for the rest of the season anyway).

If this was just about any of us and our employer got this video we’d all likely be fired. And no one would care.

And I don’t have Hunt in my fantasy leagues so I’m pumped to see my enemies get weaker (grab Ware is you can, he’s as good a fill in as you’ll ever find).

I feel you, they do a great job in the presentation and the athletes are truly world class, but behind the curtain and without the rose tinted glasses it's gross and I can't really be supportive of it personally even with all the fond memories of playing it in school and watching it with the folks, playing madden with bros etc.

they did punish kareem hunt, he is off the field. a player broke the rules, so he is suspended for the forseeable future. the Chiefs ( Clark Hunt) is almost certainly involved in this decision. He must think that Kareem hurts the franchise so much that his current on field production isnt enough to keep him around. He isnt the first person to be cut for off field issues and he wont be the last.

Their is PR, and then their is the football field. Kareem Hunt is a potential hall of fame talent. If I was a Chiefs fan, I would be pissed, because the owner voluntarily hurt the product on the field in favor of PR.

I would have no interest in spending my consumer dollars on owners that don't value what I spend my money on, which is the on field product.
