As for the Maia split decision, split decisions don't always mean close fight. Sometimes its just the case that one of the judges is blind as was in that fight. Maia won easily imo even Jorge knew it as you can see it in his face that he got dominated.

Yeah Masvidal lost that fight pretty decisively in the 3rd round. Maia is just tough as nails, never been finished I don’t think. Probably the one split decision Masvidal actually believed he lost. If I was Romero I would try bringing a guy like Till for Adesanya, but Masvidal evasive Hess movements should help him with his timing.
