I don't know if Rogan does this, or even if he can since I think his shows are live... but I know Sam Harris does it and I think it's very good: he makes sure that the guest is happy with the presentation of the podcast-- that they feel properly represented in their beliefs, before putting it out there.
Not everyone is an eloquent speaker. Doesn't mean they're dumb but Obama kind of raised the bar on speech skill expectations. Most political figures are not script writers but that doesn't mean their ideas are to be mocked or belittled, at least on the basis of presentation. I don't care if Harris has "word salads", it's a dumb nitpick
