I think you are underestimating how retarded some of these podcast bros are. Schulz is one of the smarter ones and that too by a mile, I would call him an intellectual heavyweight in any measure. Still love the guy tho

They're people that talk all day for a living so I'd say most of them are calibrated enough to steer a conversation in the direction they want it to go in or to lead the guest towards relevant topics. Schulz started pretty good but is steadily losing viewership because of how much the success has gone to his head. He's become pretty obnoxious. Same thing happened with Tom Segura. I've been trying to take a break from comedians' podcasts in general.

I think the problem I have with podcasts is that there are all brands of grifters that show up to plug the corny shit they're selling(or just their brand of influence in general) instead of just having an interesting and meaningful conversation.
