He did go to his DOJ and other officials for help besides Barr and they tried to indict that person, Jeff Clark and others , along with jailing peter Navarro. It was not like everyone told him off.

Unfortunately, soft coups can happen, even in the US, and the president’s party doesn’t always do what the president wants. They do what big money donors want to keep things the status quo. In fact, sometimes someone can be installed without even a single vote being cast for them, even in America.
