The election isn't just about following the cult of one person, but about the broader direction that voters want to see the country go....or, not go.
She's polling better now because she's not Trump, and, she seems like she can actually beat Trump. The excitement is for the party. But, people aren't talking about her in the way they did Obama, or even Hillary.
I honestly don't know how one can even really give much credence to a VP poll. VPs largely don't do anything, and are acting under the orders of the president. She ran against Biden, so they don't even have the same vision.
A VP's favorability is largely tied to the president's unless they go out of their way to be extra bad or good....and most stay in their lane.
Kamala had some strong points as a senator, but seemed to have gotten a lobotomy when she became VP. Word salad galore and terrible in interviews.
But however bad you think Kamala is, for a Democrat, there is no comparison to be made if it's her vs. Trump.
