Elections Kamala Harris for POTUS

I am waiting for the Trump/Harris debate disaster.
It will be the 'wake-up call' folks had after the Trump/Biden debate.
After that it will be easy sailing for Trump all the way to November. That is, if no one ties to kill him and the elections are not rigged.

Too bad, the democrats rig every election. It’s time to pack your bags and move to Russia. Conservative Americans are the most oppressed group in the world.

We have to view this as just the beginning an Kamala an Tim now have to lead this effort across country. They have been raising record money an working hard on a ground game.

The hard part is just beginning an get ready for whatever comes ahead. Republicans are going to push hard on anything James Colmer going to pivot from one BS investigation to another spending millions on the process. Somehow Tim Walz teaching English in China in 1988 for one year is a part of China's master plan. Trump run RNC has been a disaster in epic proportions.

You're wrongly putting this on "identity politics". This isn't about identity, because it isn't really about Kamala, being female, or being a POC. This is fundamentally about what direction you want to see the country go----left or right...Trump, or noT Trump.
Does the identity politics help to motivate people to vote for and against? Sure. But it's not why we're here.

What we're seeing on the right is them getting behind one person, Trump. On the other side, this is more about party. Who was EXCITED to vote Biden? Who is bummed that he is out?
The reality of our politics is that regardless of who the president is, there is a party that is moving or blocking things behind them.
Trump didn't do anything extraordinary as a president. But just him being in office meant he could get some Supreme and federal judges picked, and that helped to structurally change things in favor of Republicans.
However much 'hot air' you think Kamala has, however incapable you think she is, she is being compared to Trump. And it doesn't get worse than a stubborn old man that thinks he has all of the answers and is backed by a bunch of ass kissers.

Do you think the Democrats planned for this to happen? To put Kamala in at the last minute? That they really thought Biden had no shot? That wouldn't of made any sense. Kamala was not the least bit popular, and if that was the plan, they would have been doing some work to make her look better/more likable beforehand.
This also makes Biden look bad, and would make no sense why he would taint his own legacy in this way.
Not from the start. But certainly, when they realized he really was slipping mentally. Then they faced a huge dilemma SURROUNDED by identity politics. The right thing would have been to replace her with someone competent. But you can't replace a black woman, that would have created a huge issue. Let's not forget she was a DEI appointment to begin with. Biden did that with his whole cabinet. She was destroyed in the 2020 primaries, 1st out. But hey--POC female, box checked. Now the Dems pivoted hard and said let's ride this till the wheels fall off. "First black woman president" history will be made angle. And it's working. Just keep her quiet.
As for the direction of the country point---we see what the dems direction is. That is the rights only hope. People don't like the direction we have been headed. But the Trump hate "Anyone but Trump" is strong.

Who is "they" in this? And when did they realize he was "really" slipping mentally?
We've been talking about his mental decline for literally years. "Sleepy Joe" hiding in the bunker has been a thing for literally years.
His decline has only gotten worse, and any of the "they" around him HAD to have known that already. This didn't just suddenly become apparent in the debate against Trump, they just couldn't hide it anymore.
Democrats can't simultaneously be idiots and masterminds at the same time. It's abundantly clear that this was not a plan.

You keep scapegoating back to identity politics, instead of looking at the facts.
**ALL VPs are DEI hires, so this point that you guys keep repeating is pointless. The point of the VP is to help get votes for the president. DIVERSITY is the entire point so that you can broaden your voter base. This has always been the case.
A big part of why I am enthused with Kamala is because of her VP pick, and I'm not alone in that.

**For ANY VP, Democrats would have to explain why that VP was good enough to be 2nd in command and take over if Biden died, but not good enough to take over now.
If Elizabeth Warren had been Biden's VP, the question would have been, "So a woman is good enough to be 2nd, but not to lead?"
If an Asian or Latino man had been Biden's VP, the same question would have applied. "A minority is good enough to carry Biden's water, but not to lead?"
So why is there always this focus on her being black, as if this wouldn't of been issue otherwise? It would have been a huge issue anyway you sliced it.

** How exactly do you propose that they would have replaced Kamala with someone "competent" ? You can't just plug someone in. That's not how our electoral system works. It takes a lot of money, support, and organization to run for president. A campaign would have had to have started from scratch. Where would that money and organization had come from?
Kamala is literally in the best position as far as running a campaign goes. There is literally no one better positioned.

For your last point, that's a matter of opinion. People may not be enthused with everything going on in the country now, but, if you're on the left, a vote for Trump is just slitting your own throat.

It's strange having an Orwellian "Free Press" not doing their job in securing interviews or participating in press conferences with the Democrat candidate, but instead just pushing the DNC propaganda.

At the same time they are giving the candidate they are producing propaganda for 90% favorable coverage, while giving her opponent 80%+ negative coverage. That's some Orwellian shit and sadly we have a lot of weak minds that accept it without a critical thought in their heads.

Ah yes, the "Orwellian Free Press".

Lest we forget... "This is extremely dangerous to our Democracy."
