I don't know about you, but one thing I absolutely hate about election night coverage is the 'horse race.' Making it seem like every state is a huge shocker.

If you've been paying attention to the race in the weeks/months prior to the election night, you should be paying exclusive attention to the battleground states that the polls are within 5 points.

Paying attention to the same states that all went the same way in 2016, 2020, and in 2024 there's 5+ point favorability for one candidate is a waste of time.

Been thinking about making a thread about this that I really hope would be non-partisan, and I'll probably get around to it after I'm off dubbs.
