Okay, but now you have abandoned your point of disagreement with me which is that you think I should not be contrasting Trump with kamala in an election between Trump and Kamala.... Which is a genuine absurdity.

And you still don't know what proof is because Kamala is completely qualified to be the vice president and so you'd have to prove that the only motivation was to hire a woman and obviously you can't prove that you just want to pretend you can.

If there are 10 qualified men and 10 qualified women, it's perfectly appropriate to say I'd like to hire one of those women. The truth is you assume there are not 10 qualified women.

You should just take the loss.

I've been watching the commentariat lately and it's shocking how quickly the leftists came into lockstep over Kamala. People that a few months ago would call her an idiot are now singing the praise. It's such an astroturfing operation going on at the moment, and the purpose is probably to brute-force any dissenting internal voices into silence. It's even more desperate astorturfing than i've seen for "pokemon go to the polls" Hillary.

It's understandable, and it's done for Democrats - time is running out and the operation is "convince every democrat they love kamala, and that they ALWAYS loved kamala". LOOK AT THIS REUTERS POLL! Kamala is winning! you believe us, democrat base? Don't you? Isn't it right that you always thought she was amazing?

Democrats went from Biden is totally competent, to OMG who is this senile dude, to senile dude must go, to Kamala is our best shot and we always loved her, look, she's a WOMAN AND BLACK! This was all within a month, so of course the current astroturfing has to be full speed. You can see whisps of it in this very forum - war room libs are quietly converging towards a common vocabulary, and it will become more visible as time goes by. the cringiest one i've seen is the "oh so you're afraid of kamala, trumptards shaking in their boots" which is hilarious if you've actually read the internet reactions to it, and it's more of a way to hype themselves up if anything.

The cringe will probably reach full screaming pitch around Convention time, and about a few weeks after that you will have the real polls, which are the target of the current astroturf.

His entire political ideology relies on Anti-American sentiment, sort of like Noam Chomsky but less principled and bright. Hence, why he is a Hamas supporter and a supporter of Putin. He engages in a lot of broad claims without any evidence attached, it is like speaking to a wall.

I'm literally not a republican and have never voted for Trump you retard. I was a registered Democrat for many years.

I presented a scenario in which people claim they would vote for an empty chair - and I've had this told to my face many times - clearly that would result in people behind the scenes controlling the government.

If you think Biden was actually running things as president however, you are probably as demented as he is.

You guys are trying hard to figure out why the Democrats won't vote for Kamala. Trying to rationalize how some of this stuff is going to play out.

We all saw Trump's speech yesterday and he couldn't really think of much to attack Kamala with besides the border lol. He rambled on and on for probably 5+ minutes about his crowd sizes again because his material was dry.

Going to be interesting to see how Trump tries to attack a candidate who's not a vegetable. So far he's 0/1 and came across pretty poorly.

JD Vance also 0/1 after everyone watched his mountain dew joke get no reaction as he laughed at his own joke. Since Biden dropped out, Vance and Trump have started oozing that Ron Desantis tiny dick energy.

Excuse me, filthybitch, I've stated a thousand times that I do not support Hamas. I'm against genocide, which Israel is guilty of enacting on the people of Palestine.

In regards to the Ukraine/Russia conflict my argument has always been that they need to have a realistic peace settlement NOW to prevent further bloodshed on both sides.

She shares little culturally? She went to an HBCU and joined a historic black sorority! These two institutions are huge parts of black American culture.

She's not the perfect African American candidate but then, the perfect black candidate that looks, sounds, and whose history was unambiguously black American (like Stacey Abrams, for example) would be unpalatable to white America so she wouldn't be in this position at all. A lot of the criticism you're bringing up were brought up about Obama as well and we know how that turned out.

In the end, she doesn't have to reach Obama-levels of support, she just has to be more than Biden and she's already doing that.
