I've been watching the commentariat lately and it's shocking how quickly the leftists came into lockstep over Kamala. People that a few months ago would call her an idiot are now singing the praise. It's such an astroturfing operation going on at the moment, and the purpose is probably to brute-force any dissenting internal voices into silence. It's even more desperate astorturfing than i've seen for "pokemon go to the polls" Hillary.
It's understandable, and it's done for Democrats - time is running out and the operation is "convince every democrat they love kamala, and that they ALWAYS loved kamala". LOOK AT THIS REUTERS POLL! Kamala is winning! you believe us, democrat base? Don't you? Isn't it right that you always thought she was amazing?
Democrats went from Biden is totally competent, to OMG who is this senile dude, to senile dude must go, to Kamala is our best shot and we always loved her, look, she's a WOMAN AND BLACK! This was all within a month, so of course the current astroturfing has to be full speed. You can see whisps of it in this very forum - war room libs are quietly converging towards a common vocabulary, and it will become more visible as time goes by. the cringiest one i've seen is the "oh so you're afraid of kamala, trumptards shaking in their boots" which is hilarious if you've actually read the internet reactions to it, and it's more of a way to hype themselves up if anything.
The cringe will probably reach full screaming pitch around Convention time, and about a few weeks after that you will have the real polls, which are the target of the current astroturf.
